Services
From M25 or A34, exit onto M3 southbound. Then take the M27 westbound towards Bournemouth. M27 becomes A31 which branches off to Bournemouth at Ringwood. Follow the A338 Wessex Way dual carriageway to first roundabout and follow signs left for Bournemouth Railway Station. Go left again at the next roundabout into Holdenhurst Road.
Attended as part of a large group, owners were laid back and friendly. I accidentally left a shirt behind and the owners arranged postage for it to be sent back at no cost apart from postage. Thanks for having us! At the begenning, I had to stay only one week in the hotel but I was so good there I stayed one month!

What makes this B and B are Kat and James. They will go out of their way to ensure you are happy and relaxed. Always available and so personable. They have worked very hard of late re decorating - it looks great! Location is perfect, easy walk to transport and East Cliff. Breakfast is first rate. Been a few times now and returning soon

Lovely, kind and funny family run B&B. Brilliant (husband and wife) hosts. Very comfortable family room, with everything you need, clean, close to all the amenities (beaches and restaurants, shops) and delicious breakfast to start the day off. Highly recommend. Great location and value for money. Would stay here again.

Loved this B+B near Central Bournemouth. Kat and James run it, and they are amazing hosts. So friendly and they couldn't have been more professional or helpful. James'sense of humour and sensible perspective helped us to relax more quickly into the holiday, which could have been so stressful owing to the fuel crisis and other factors. A great breakfast cooked by Kat too. We loved our room also. Lea Hurst is not suitable for people who need ground floor accommodation.

Stayed for a day at Lea Hurst and it was so comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. We booked here last minute and were lucky to get a room. We stayed for Bournemouth beach, came back, slept then left early next morning, but not before indulging in a wonderful, hot, vegetarian breakfast. We had toast, juice, tea, veggie sausages, potatoes and more. And the hosts treated us wonderfully. If you want a nice, quiet nook near Bournemouth beach, I highly recommend!

Booked a room here for a place to crash after clubbing at Sound Circus (literally a 3 minute walk away). The owner was very polite upon greeting me. Payment was made on arrival and was done with. Was then shown to my room which was quite cozy. Very much enjoyed my night here. Will most likely be booking again in the future. There's WiFi at the hotel although it was quite slow, it was a nice touch.
There's also optional breakfast which is a nice touch although I didn't go for this option. Overall, a good night sleep at a price not much more than it would have been for me to get a cab home.
