Langstone Cliff Hotel

An amazing hotel along with all its staff. From the time of my arrival I was literally blown away by its hospitality. A different vibe to most hotels I have stayed in. The double room was spacious very quite and peaceful. The food was delicious. The continatal hot breakfast was cooked beautifully and plenty of choice on the menu. Spotless clean, freindly bar staff, helpful receptionists always polite and professional.

A very busy hotel with major booking events that take place. My very recent visit (wedding of son Chris & Sarah daughter in law). Mind blowing experience all around. Would recommend to anyone. Won't be disappointed. Just want to say a big thank you to all the staff. God bless you

Definitely not worthy of a 4 star rating. Staff done their best, but the hotel was woefully understaffed & blamed sickness for shortages. It was a very busy weekend & plans should have been put in place. Too many weddings & parties for staff to reasonably cope with. Managers given time off when they should have been at the hotel. Hotel ran out of draft beer, & coke, forcing customers to purchase bottles at much higher prices, simply blamed on ordering issues.

A lame excuse considering it was going to be a busy weekend. Main manager not around & left everything to junior staff. Some rooms were extremely dirty with infestation, Room keys faulty & constantly at reception collecting a new key/card. Should & could be a good hotel but in desperate need of management reorganisation & become accountable to customers rather than leaving it to junior staff to deal with constant complaints. Swimming pool was good.

Very busy hotel. Really nice views and clean room. Decent size swimming pool. Buffet breakfast is more than adequate. I do not drink coffee, but people tell me the quality and selection is excellent. Evening meals are damn good, they have been a bit overwhelmed by the amount of wedding guests here. Room is clean and staff are trying there best. I accidentally over paid and never realised.

I was quickly pursued to rectify the situation. I cannot fault this honesty and insisted that the over payment can be kept. Enjoyed my 4 night stay so much I extended it to 5 days. Value for money here is fabulous. Will be booking and coming back again. Many thanks.

Really disappointing arrival, waiting over an hour to check in despite room should have been ready at 3pm. Then after an hour and 40 mins waiting our room wasn't ready and it was the wrong, smaller room. Really unapologetic and just wish we booked somewhere else! Got a nice view of the car park from our 'superior double'. Incredibly misleading title.

And with the window missing a blind slat so we don't even have privacy from the car park. What a joke. Missed out on taking our two young children swimming trying to get a room and then it was too full for us to go so very unhappy. No interest in the staff wanting us to have a nice stay at all. Restaurant is quite nice but service was slow, waited over an hour on both nights for a kids chicken nuggets. Poor, tick box service all around.

Fantastic wedding venue with amazing coordinator for evening. Highly recommend the vintage tea package in the spinnaker room! Only downside is the rooms need massive upgrading same with pool area. Room prices are far too high for the quality. Staff are friendly and mostly happy to help when they can. Breakfast is a miss and worth a little drive to northney tea rooms instead.

Hotel wonderful and situated in a beautiful area. Staff very nice, from cleaners to waiters and receptionists. Jordan on reception was very nice and professional. Great food both for dinner and breakfast. We used the pool. The pool lady / receptionist was very polite. Great water. Nice room, a bit small bathroom but it is ok. I love mirrors that are placed with taste. We are delighted with this place and highly recommend it.

Spent 4 days here for a short break and found it to be a lovely hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and the evening meals were delicious. The gym, sauna and pool were real nice but unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of action. They also have a lovely spa there. Very enjoyable stay.

Excellent, beautiful location. Ample room space and very good amenities. Experienced and efficient staff. Good parking facilities. Value for money: On the expensive side for some of the services provided and some details like maintenance and cleaning stripped the 5-star according to me. I would recommend this for families, though it can be busy due to weddings and other meetings.

Standard room, what is missing for a 4 star hotel: slippers and bathroom robe. The water temperature is changing, so that was interesting. People in reception and from bar or restaurant are very helpful and they will do their best to accommodate the requests. In the restaurant/ bar area you have lots of places where you can sit. For the restaurant you need a reservation, but the food is good so worth to stop and eat. I didn't manage to go to the pool.

Most staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was lovely and the dining area overlooked the estuary which was a wonderful sight. The room was a bit tired but I understand they will shortly be refurbished. The shower drain had a fair drop and was right where you stood when showering. The corridors and bar area were really cold which meant we spent time elsewhere

Great resort Really friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere in a beautiful setting just on Hayling Island. My partner and I stayed on a Sunday for a single night in January so obviously chilly and grey but the resort was well heated in the room and common areas. Will be returning in the summer.

Spent our 5th anniversary here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was lovely for both dinner and breakfast. Staff were great all throughout the hotel

This is our second Christmas here and I couldn't find fault in anything. the family are so friendly and helpful, the staff just as amazing and food to die for. how they manage to serve so many Christmas lunches hot and extremely tasty is beyond me. would I recommend you bet I will. Thank you to the Rogers family and all their amazing staff.

Thank you for a lovely weekend at your hotel. All the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. They bent over backwards to ensure we had the best stay. Our children loved every minute and were really sad when we had to leave. We will definitely be back!

My sister got married here. The event was nicely organised, with plenty of yummy food and a DJ who wouldn't listen to any suggestion. Staying there wasn't so easy, though. There were a couple of mistakes with our reservations. However, everything was sorted out in the end and some of the guests got a free upgrade for the inconvenience.

Hotel is lovely, staff are very good also very clean. Feel as if it needs a bit of a building clean up on the outside, there were weeds growing on the flat roofs and some of the cladding just needs cleaning. Our room was lovely, clean, large and well laid out but again felt it could do with updated lighting. Overall it was very good though.

I stayed 3 nights to do a Pilates course (not to do with the hotel just used as the venue) and enjoyed everything about this hotel. The room was lovely clean and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful no matter how busy they were. The food was delicious especially the fish and chips and beef pie and mash! I will definitely be booking this hotel again it was lovely.

Just back from a 3-night stay here. Very happy with everything. Staff were friendly and plenty of them! One of our group was disabled and the initial room they were given was a long way from the bar/restaurant. This was picked up immediately by one of the managers and subsequently were moved to a room that was much nearer. This was not asked for. Reception, bar and the restaurant are modern.

The rooms were clean but could do with an update. Stayed here two years ago and the restaurant menu this time was more limited. This isn't negative but it would've been nice if the choice was rotated every few nights. Location is perfect and overall, very happy with everything!

Hotel reception, bar and dinning area was all so clean modern and comfortable. The room we had was very dated. The TV would not turn off so had to be unplugged. The shower curtain was disgusting and should be thrown away. Why do some hotels use shower curtains!

Great location. Staff are extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. The food was delicious and enough on the plate. Great breakfast selection kept us going until early afternoon. Definitely will be back. Room was extremely clean and tidy. Cannot wait to return in January
