Cavendish Hotel

What a fabulous holiday I have just returned from. I booked a mystery destination for a five day break. I had been unable to choose a holiday as all the single rooms had been booked. The week before travelling I was told I would be going to Eastbourne Monday to Friday. I travelled on the feeder coach from Derby to Tamworth where I met our coach driver Kevin (Kev). Kev was everything you need in a driver. Funny, helpful, a great driver and caring.

He even escorted us to a local theatre on his day off, so everyone got there ok. There were other Alfa drivers at our hotel too and they were a real good bunch of blokes. I really liked that once I handed my suitcase over to the coach driver in Derby they took care of everything. The next time I saw my case was when I got a knock on my hotel room door, only minutes after I got there.

I felt very looked after. Everything ran like clockwork, with Kev being there to make sure we were all OK. The two day trips were lovely, very organised with nothing to do but enjoy every minute. This has been a fabulous holiday from start to finish. The hotel was gorgeous and the food tasty, filling and piping hot. I am already looking forward to my next break with this company in September for 8 days this time.

Has a lovely time in Kent doing the historic houses of Kent great driver named Ian could recommend the tour booked to go to Scotland 7th August for historic houses of Scotland can't wait

We had a brilliant holiday in Illfracombe Devon from Wed 4th May till Sunday 8th May. We had lovely trips out to Clovelly, Bideford, and Exmouth. The coach Driver John was very nice and funny and very helpful which made our holiday even better as we felt comfortable and happy. The Imperial Hotel was lovely too with bingo and entertainment and their hospitality throughout the week. We had bed, breakfast and evening meal and the full holiday was well worth it and was value for money. We will definitely be booking another trip soon. Thankyou eveyone X

Alfa holiday was real value for money. Liked the offer of 4 free drinks coupons and 1 lunch included. Only downside was I found the interchange a bit manic, at South mimms there didn't seem to be a private dedicated area

Are first time with Alfa was amazing trip from start to finish we went to Torquay stayed at the metropolitan was lovely food amazing entertainment was good staff were lovely we would recommend will be travelling with them again prices fantastic to

Had two fantastic holidays with them. The drivers are polite, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area we are in. The staff at the interchange are also polite and efficient with moving the cases. Their hotels are clean and tidy and comfortable. Meals also very good

Four nights in Skegness in February. Nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Driver Andrew was exceptional; knowledgeable, friendly, went out of his way to be helpful, very smooth driving. Looked up places ahead of visits to provide background colour. Hope we have him again sometime. Excellent value.

Only stayed in the Regina Hotel in Torquay. Beautiful location. Hotel is a little tired. The meals are adequate but dated. Obviously designed for the ages of the clients. I am in my 70's and expected more. All in all reasonable prices for adequate meals and facilities.

Very enjoyable holiday. The coach driver Russell was very informative when we were out on excursions. He was a lovely, helpful friendly person. The hotel we stayed in was lovely, the staff were also helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. I plan to return again next year.

We have just come back from week in fort william we had great time it's our 2nd holiday in Croit Anna Hotel already looking forward to next year. The staff were all great the young lady who served us our meals was very friendly and polite, and worked hard. Tony the driver (we was lucky to get him for a 2nd time) so passionate about Scotland and made the journey and trips very enjoyable thanks to all the team from start to finish. Off to Wales end of August 1st time with alfa hope this holiday will be has good photo's of oban, Isle of seil and from hotel window

We have just retrned from a 5 day trip to torquay with alfa travel staying at the inglewood hotel, we booked a walk in shower as i am disabled, but when we got there it was a cubicle and there was no seat to sit down. also on the thursday our window was wide open and the heating had gone off and the water in the shower was cold when i reported it they said they would have alook at it but it never got done. on the whole it was ok as there was entertainment on in the evening and the meals were good but i would not stay at the hotel again

Just got back from Gt Yamouth Derick was a great driver and a bit of a comic but the driver who picked us up to take to burton wood was a complete pratt he had a lot of people worried saying that there cases where overweight all he did was moan from Bradford through to halifax an all the way to burton wood get shut of him. Hotel smashing waitress Sonia was brilliant food great and plenty of it

We went to the Isle of Man with ALFA and i can honestly say it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. We had a first class driver who was called "JEF with one F" (I think his name was Jim actually). What he didn't know about the island wasn't worth knowing. The hotel was perhaps a little tired but clean and tidy, and the food was fine.

The beauty of ALFA though is all the excursions are included which can save you pounds in the long run. Oh and by the way, ALFA made sure we had some cracking weather as well!

Alfa holidays in the main use their own coaches and the Leisureplex Hotels of it's sister company. We believe that Alfa are the best of the UK major coach holiday operators. Not as expensive as the other big operators. You can book on line
