Services
After undergoing renovations, we're pleased to announce Brisbane's iconic Langorf Hotel. We offer you the chance to enjoy all the amenities and services of a modern hotel with the added benefit of independently organizing arrival and departure times. Our hotel is located right in center of Brisbane's CBD just opposite the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Brisbane River for endless relaxation and beautiful city views.
Great, convenient location, the room was slightly small but enough for us just to sleep in. Breakfast was amazing and the staff services were really friendly. I really hope to have the opportunity to come stay at the Langorf again in the future. We loved how conveniently located we were to the city, the gardens and even key tourist activities!
At the Langorf Hotel in Brisbane we provide a comfortable atmosphere for all guests to dine and enjoy. The restaurant indulges in stylish indoor and outdoor dining with courtyard and candlelight. The wine listing covers a variety of first rate Australian and Italian reds and whites, tailor-made to perfectly complement the cuisine. We also offer room carrier direct from our high-quality menus for your door, and catering for features and events.

Summary: Showed up to the hotel in the evening for our reservation and the hotel was CLOSED, they never informed me of the closure and left me nowhere to stay in the middle of London. We have booked this hotel months ago, a few days before my stay, an email arrived to say that the Langorf Hotel would like to cancel but nothing further should be done if we wanted to keep our reservation.
We did nothing as per the email because it was only days away from my stay, so I did not cancel, and it would be costly to find something else last minute. Come to the evening of my arrival, I arrive and only to realise the hotel is closed and no one is answering the phones. So of course panic ensues because they have left me with nowhere to stay.
I sent them a message and their reply somehow blamed me for this situation - "we tried request you to cancel and you ignored it" and they informed me that the hotel had been closed for months. Which is probably the worst non-apologetic fake apology i have ever received. Why was this hotel bookable if it had been closed for months? Why did they "request to cancel" if they knew the hotel was closed instead of just cancelling?
Why did they not just simply send me a message to tell me the hotel is not open - they have had months to contact me? One can only presume it was because they wanted to avoid any fees that would had incurred through the booking platform for such a last minute cancellation. Therefore, I find this situation outrageous and their custom service, or lack thereof, utterly ridiculous.

Where do I begin, unfriendly staff, dirty room, flies circling the lights, filthy shower, peeling paintwork, stained carpet, lumpy bed. I complained about the state of the room but no alternative offered. It was June 2019 and I was going to a concert in Wembley stadium. I didn't dare have a shower or try breakfast. This place really, really should be closed down on health and safety grounds. DO NOT STAY HERE, if you value your health. I am just so sorry that others have continued to have experiences similar to mine.

It's very old fashion house which I liked and the staff are so nice. However it came with more problems. The shower was cold it was after 10pm in a towel exhausted was not calling for help but it must be a ongoing problem because there are notes EVERYWHERE in the room. Sliver fish on the bathroom floor yes this happened in every home but with new wooden and cleaner floors this will prevent this. the room was covered in cobwebs. It feel uncomfortable. Pictures was taken I will be privately emailing this hotel to fix this Solution

Excellent for a no frills business stay. Comfy beds, executive rooms are big, free WiFi, hot showers. Quiet at the back of the hotel too. Convenient for the tube (5 min walk) and lots of local amenities on your doorstep. A little ragged around the edges, like going back to the '80s hospitality trade, but great value. I'm a regular guest now.

I would have hoped so that 100 (Was a discount, the real price is more) a night would get us further but unfortunately this was not the case at this hotel. Great location, lovely receptionist. Staff was a little bit in a "i don't care & so bored" mood/'mode'. Only cold breakfast, and very poor selection. About the room, well I don't think I have to say more.
Enough to look at the pictures. Probably they haven't done any renovation since the 80's. I'm not sure how they haven't been reported to the hygiene control, does that even exist in the UK? Probably not.

Room decor old and shabby. Carpet lifting up and badly stained in several places, looks filthy. TV remote missing and when asked for a replacement none could be given. Phone not working. Only good thing about the room was the wonderful bath and shower, fabulous pressure and hot water. Not worth the money, and wouldn't stay here even if it cost less.

Rooms could be in better shape, the shower was not working well, the water was too hot and not possible to have it more cold. The restaurant staff is not really amiable and the breakfast could be improved. We went twice at 9.30 and the buffet was almost empty. Even if the hotel is well located, the overall experience will not be done again.

I only choose this hotel from how nice it looked in the photos and it looked like it was worth 150 a night. Unfortunately the photos must of been taken at a different hotel because it was basically a dump. Rooms were small, beds were uncomfortable, rooms too hot, rooms very dated and needed a tidy up. Showers terrible, bathroom tiny. No coffee in the room, I feel like we have been ripped off but what can you do other than try to stop other people making the same mistake. I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend.
