We are excited to announce that under our new ownership, The Lairbeck is finally undergoing the extensive renovation and repair it so desperately needed. We hope that coming into the 2023 season, we will see regular and new guests enjoying this beautiful building again, which will be reconfigured in to a series of spacious 1 and 2 bedroom self catering apartments: tastefully decorated and well appointed.

Unfortunately we only stay here for one night in March. I found the online booking a bit of a faff. But there was a very helpful member of staff I could talk to aftet, to make sure that I'd filled it in correctly. Parking was good. Check in was easy. The room was clean and tidy and it had one of the best views In Keswick. It would have been nice to have local biscuits or choc's on the welcome tray.
But this is a three star. So was not expecting it. The other half praised the bathroom. No bath, just a shower. But that's OK. Breakfast was well presented and went down a treat.

We found a free parking place straight away, which meant we didn't need to pay the private parking charge, (only 6, so it wouldn't have broke the bank.) Booking in took a minute and the owners were local and very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the ground floor with spectacular views of the mountains, and a short walk to Derwent Water. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. Decor was tasteful. The bed was perfect, very comfortable! In the morning, our breakfast was perfect. So tasty. Great quality. Definitely will return.

On arrival I asked where the car park was as I had booked parking. The receptionist told me I hadn't booked parking as I hadn't paid for it. I told him I has booked direct with them and the website stated it was free. He tried to argue there was a charge, then agreed there wasn't but was adamant I had not booked as the hotel did not allow guests to book parking.
I asked if there was space in the car park and there was. Baffled as to why he was so difficult about it. The room smelled strongly of fumes we requested a room change but there were non available. We had to sleep with the window wide open to ventilate the room as the smell got worse with the window closed. All in all not a great stay.do

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Crow Park Hotel. Our room was on the top floor where we could see Catbells and the lake ( see photo for our view!). The room was a good size, clean, and the bed was really comfy. The staff were brilliant, really welcoming and the hosts were full of knowledge. We genuinely couldnt ask more of them. The cooked Breakfast was the best I'd had anywhere - we also opted for alternative menu options on some days which were just as nice.
We can't recommend this hotel enough. A great place as a base to explore and a 5 min walk from the lake and centre. There is parking for 6 a day but if you can grab a spot on the front of the hotel its free. Would highly recommend booking a stay here direct with the hotel X

Room was lovely and clean, a bit on the small size for a superior room, towels could have been bigger. We stayed in room 4 over looking the park, great views of Catbells. Breakfast was great, service was excellent, staff couldn't do enough. Enough parking but have to pay 6 a day. I would definitely stay again.

We had the best time! Nice little hotel was so cosy and the staff were brilliant, everything is made with Love! Special mention to the guy with glasses, he was an absolute STAR. after asking him what is the best walk to take in Keswick, next morning on our breakfast table we found a hand writen note with the most detailed plan of our walk and places to visit.
Also a little chap that served our breakfast was the most polite and cutest kid on the planet. All the staff is amazing! Rooms were super clean and bed was so comfy! Thank you for everything, we will be back.

Lovely traditional B&B in Keswick. Clean, comfortable rooms with amazing views at the front (and back) We had room 16. Breakfast choice was good and beautifully cooked. friendly cheerful staff. 5 minutes walk from the boat jetty and the little park is lovely. Perfect for a short break in the area. There is no lift. Car park at rear much appreciated.
