Booked in for food one evening with friends and we all really enjoyed it. Good menu backed up with a large selection of wine, beers and spirits. This was one of the few places we all went for three courses. Good to see it busy but you still felt relaxed and the service was great from the friendly staff.

Good things- friendly staff, room was clean and fine except there was no window, just a door to a ground floor conservatory, which had a window we could open if we wanted to onto the gravel beer garden and car park. There was a residents' lounge which we didn't use and a well stocked bar. Good selection for breakfast. Not so good things- 15 for haddock and chips might be ok if the chips hadn't been oven chips (I know oven chips when I see them), and the vinegar was a few sachets plonked on the table.
The poached egg in the morning appeared to have been cooked using the "wrap it in cling film and put it in boiling water" method. None of that was good nor did it tie in with their marketing claim of being sustainable and of using locally sourced and fresh cooking. And I would be staggered if the custard hadn't come from a tin of Ambrosia. It all seemed a bit overpriced, the thick end of 200 for dinner bed and breakfast for one night. Just fell short of what the marketing suggested.

Didn't eat here. Had a drink in the beer garden as they don't have indoor seating unless you have a meal Spent a week in Kinlochewe and the lack of bar facilities appears to be an issue. Even closing at 9pm. Tried later in the week when many of the restaurant tables were unoccupied.asked for a drink a d told "we dont have anywhere for you to sit, why not go outside, it's a nice e evening " (dry yes, warm no) good old highland hospitality.
Would like to know about their licence.if we were given drink to take to the beer garden then they cant just have a restaurant licence. yet they won't give you a seat indoors so can't have a bar licence. Investigating this.

Absolutely amazing meal we had last week. The food and the service was second to none. Unfortunatly did not get the names of the staff but they were very caring and spent time with us. The food was also excellent. Would recommend the salmon starter. Dog friendly. They even pulled up a seat for our wee dog. Long time since had such good service and meal out.

We were warmly welcomed by Karen who pointed us to the room. Our Twin room was very comfortable, clean with a window overlooking the hotel garden. I recommend booking a table for dinner as the restaurant is very popular and a couple of people had to be turned away as they were fully booked. The food was amazing, the best we had on our NC500 trip. From all the hotels we stayed during our 9 day trip, this was by far the best accommodation, food and service we had.
