It's alright, main problem is that it's in the middle of nowhere which means no phone signal. Thankfully they have fast WiFi. Another thing is that the breakfast feels like something a 5 year old would choose (babybell, finger cheese, one type of ham, cherry tomatoes, cold boiled eggs, croissants, muffins, cereals), and it's pretty impossible to find decent good for lunch/dinner within walking distance.

The setting is amazing. The views around the hotel and alongside the road leasing towards Keswick and Grasmere are breath taking. The hotel is nice, modern, and clean enough. On site you'll find cafe, offering drinks and snacks, which closes at 2100, and reopens at 0800. If you have breakfast included, it's really nice, nicely served full continental.
You will have option of cooked breakfast in nearby pub. Really great few days break, good for walks and exploring the lakes. WiFi is a hit and miss, and rooms further from reception, may not have it at all, which is going to be address by staff, who is lovely, helpful and available if need be. Overall- if you looking for a nice break in the lakes, this is really good choice.

1st time staying here, staff were lovely, bed and room was ideal for us, breakfast was continental, price for 1 night was perfect, this place is also a great base start for walkers. As one of the paths for Helvellyn is close by, also theres an added bonus, a coffee shop for a quick stop and refreshment for a start or end of walk or just passing past on a drive journey.

We stayed for 1 night.no Internet in the room only at the reception. Also our phones did not work in that area. Only 1 place that delivered food, we pay 5 for that and tool over 1 hour to arrive. The hotel itself is pleasant to stay, myself with 2 kids I felt safe.would recommend and would love to go back.

Not your average run of the mill chain hotel But everything was practical and comfortable. Great value and we loved the continental breakfast as it almost added a 'healthy' edge! Coffee was better than any other coffee at any other hotel I've stayed at over the past year. Will definitely stay there again when I next visit Keswick!
