One of the best hotels that I have ever visited! Amazing people, amazing service, very warm atmosphere, amazing breakfast with many choices, very clean, plus the little extra personal items/ toiletries and variety of teas and coffees in the room. Lots of things to do around the town as well which can be reached easily by foot. Beautiful little garden and beautiful corners of relaxation plus the "honesty bar", you'll figure it out when you get there. John, the manager if I'm not mistaken, and the owners were very friendly and helpful, and always with a smile! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant and warm! Until next time.

Extremely well run 'boutique guest house' (venue's own description) in the heart of Bath. The location is perfect with the centre of the city a short stroll away. The hotel is located in one of the city's historic streets and indeed one of the quiet ones without any evening nightlife in the immediate vicinity. A parking permit is provided if required.
The hotel was well decorated, clean and provided a first class breakfast with several options available. The garden commensurate in size to this Gergian residence is a very interesting and pleasant feature.

Lovely welcome from attentive hosts as soon as you walk into the property. A short break for a mother and daughter in room 4, a snug room but perfect for a short stay whereby we spent most of our time outdoors. Great location to the city, beautiful gardens and of course the breakfast was delicious. Absolutely would stay again, thank you.

Highly recommend. Great location, great hotel facilities, great staff. 5min walk to town centre. Interiors are beautiful. Garden is beautiful. Hotel staff are lovely. Breakfast menu includes hot options, continental buffet options, 5 different coffee beans and Gluten Free options. We arrived without much planned, within 10mins, reception had booked us into 2 recommended restaurants - both excellent. Superb!

Lovely hotel, owned and run by a most gracious host. We had the room closest to the front door yet we were never woken by a slamming door because it has a proper closer. Our bed was quite comfy. Breakfasts were perfect and abundant. Eggs cooked perfectly. All of Bath is easily within walking distance. I strongly suggest the Kennard Hotel.

I really enjoyed my night here. The room was cozy and quite comfortable. The staff was kind and had good suggestions for places to go while in Bath. The breakfast was simply amazing. Wonderful hot choices, I had the eggs Benedict, which I'd come back for! The hotel is also a very short walk from the city center. I'd definitely stay here again.

Breakfast at The Kennard was a dream come true. Prepared and served to the highest standard, it's as if the host and hostess wanted to open a restaurant but opened a B&B instead. Everything is hot and delicious while there is a sumptuous array of cold dishes of fruit salad, yogurt, homemade granola, homemade jams and jellies, and freshly squeezed fruit juice for you to sample.
Even the table setting is indeed silver. The bed and bedding at the Kennard was excellent but overall the rooms could use some tweaking, such as the towel holder for the sink was impractically located and couldn't be used, and the light-blocking window shade would only pull halfway down (important when the sun rises at 4:30am). And of course, the rooms are very very small, understandable due to the historical accomodation.
We appreciated the welcome, helpful tips, and complimentary bottles of both still and sparking water. The location of the Kennard is excellent - only a 10 minute walk from the city center, but in a very quiet neighborhood. Recommended? Yes, 100%.
