Ivy House Hotel

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, very pleasant and helpful staff. Place is immaculately cleaned.

Great accommodations as far as rooms. Laundry room can definitely use some tlc as the washers are falling apart. But overall good stay again room was amazing.

Very comfortable atmosphere, the feel of a small country inn. Located near all of the attractions in Everglades City.

The Ivey House was quite nice. It is clean and centrally located. It could use a bit of an update but has everything in the rooms you need. We played with our boys cards at the pool deck area. I would have liked it if they would have offered breakfast.

Nice old school Florida hotel right in the middle of town. We did a fantastic kayak tour in the afternoon then checked in and walked to dinner. Very nice day and our tour guide was great!

We had room 32 so there was no one on either side of us which was nice. There was a room across the hall but we never heard a sound from them. The room had plenty of space for the 2 of us. The room could use some paint, and the way the bathroom door was it made it a little awkward. Other then that our room was good. They do have a dining room but they don't use it.

You can't even get a cup of coffee down there. That was disappointing . If you are bringing your own fishing poles you might want to look into the River Wilderness to stay at. They have free kayaks and free bikes for the guests.

WiFi and functioning internet is essential for travellers from outside the US. The wifi did not funktion in our room. It was necesary to leave the room and walk into the corridors or to the reception area ti make it work. This is totally unacceptable Other poins wero ok. But it doesnt help.

Passing through Everglades City over the years, we've stayed at five different lodging choices (which is probably all that exist in this size of a town). Ivey House/Everglade Adventures Hotel Suites is the nicest of the bunch in our opinions, reflecting modern rooms. But I can't give them 5 stars since housekeeping was knocking on our door, probably hoping to clean the room, an hour before checkout. Hate it when that happens.

Good hotel well-suited as base for plenty of Everglade-adventures. We didn't miss anything. The king bed was comfortable, the room was very clean. Quite area at night, which allows a good sleep if the fridge and A/C are turned off. A nice perk: staying here provides a 10% discount on various adventures in the area, i.e. Airboat rides, etc.

Wife and I spent 2 nights here and it was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and organized. Being in a pool industry for 22 years, of course I checked the room air conditioner filters and found them to be clean. I also checked the filter on the dehumidifier and found it to be clean. Keep the dehumidifier on. You will need to empty it, as it gets full every 24 hours. Pool area was clean and the front desk was helpful. Definitely would go back.
