Cozy inn with a lovely property and kind and welcoming staff. Spent two nights here and would've liked to stay longer. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious. If you're visiting melton mowbray this is the place to stay!

Partner was booked in a room couldn't make it on the first day due to a wedding but payment was still made, only to get told on the morning, that her room had been given to someone else even though it was booked and paid for, and now has to have a shared room. How that even happens without the persons knowledge?!

Amazing staff, we came up on Friday to collect some cars on Saturday morning, the food was superb and the service amazing they even went out of their way to do our breakfast early Saturday so we could get on our way, lovely room with massive four poster bed with lovely views of the garden, same price as the premier inn no comparison in service, the best western wins every time.

A welcome garden to unwind in after visiting the Artisan Cheese Fair. A very comfortable stay and wonderfully accommodating staff!

When informed that the beer we'd been served appeared to have gone off, the comment made by the barmaid to my husband was. "It must be that the barrel is coming to an end" no apology, no refund. Beer left on table. Told later that it had been quaffed by duo with no taste buds. We won't be going again.

I didn't stay I was using a downstairs reception room for an interview. The room was nice and the view was really good too, I did walk in the garden and that was nice, I'll definitely be back for a summer evening drink.

Lovely hotel, with a brilliant garden and views. Value for money second to none vs others in the area. Food and service (throughout stay) were exceptional. Very friendly staff and always willing to cater for anything, such as my bizarre dietary requirements!
