To start this visit of Paris, I started with a small visit in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, at the edge of the Marais district (this is where I advise you to find your hotel).The architecture, the atmosphere, the shops.
The Butte-aux-cailles is one of those areas of Paris that is a little bit special, a little bit apart, that we would like to preserve, to keep warm, to protect from the crowds, from the pollution and from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located in the 13th arrondissement in the south of Paris, not far from the Place d'Italie, we like to take a break here to rest and remember what life is like in the quiet.
You want to discover or re-discover Paris by walking around but, apart from the obligatory visit to the Eiffel Tower, you don't know where to start and need some ideas. Absolutely Brilliant Stay! We stayed 2 nights as our 1st anniversary getaway. The staff are the star of the hotel. Great property. Amazing customer with a personal touch. Specially Catarina who assisted with our booking was really helpful and made our stay memorable. We really appreciate it! Also the reception team David and Alin are very helpful, very welcoming, are always happy to help and will always great you with a big smile.
Restaurant staff were very good, excellent service and amazing food compliments to the chef and the team. Bar tender is very cheerful and an entertainer. The leisure facility and the overall property is excellent with ample of parking and the best part it 3-4mins walk to the beach. Room are modern and stylish. One of the best hotels we stayed in especially because of the customer service provided which is something rare to find in hotels now a days.
I have also noticed most guest who stay here are repeat guest which proofs how good the hotel and its staff are Keep it up Guys! Highly recommended and we will definitely come again. Thank you very much Hotel Collingwood team for this amazing experience.

If I could give more stars I would. We had such an amazing experience at this hotel, the staff were incredible, especially Jessica in the restaurant. We were made to feel welcome and cared about. Nothing was too much for this team of super people. Our room was so spacious and a great view of the beach. The hotel was clean and the food was spectacular. I cannot believe this place is only a 3*, deserves to a 4 at least. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and fantastic stay. The Jones Family.

We stayed for four nights at the Hotel Collingwood on a dinner bed and breakfast board. This is our second visit to this hotel. The rooms are lovely and well maintained, the food was excellent and good value. The staff are fantastic, Jessica in particular, always greeted us with a lovely smile, but everyone is so friendly, a real credit to the hotel.

The hotel is not what it seems. On entering it looks lovely BUT the rooms are very dated carpets are very stained and very warn. Couldn't work out what colour it was. And as for the bathroom well.we didn't use it to much. Old fashioned, smelly, grotty, no silver colour on taps, overflow outlet and plug hole silver missing they are a grotty green colour.
Shower curtain smells, and it was a curtain with round rings but on a square pole! And tiles on floor are badly stained, not sure what with! The smell coming from the bathroom was mold, wet, old smell. And the curtains in the bedroom felt plastic. As the reviews indicate the refurbishment has been done! Well it's nowhere near the standard we like.

We had a great family break at Hotel Collingwood. The staff are so friendly and helpful the create a great atmosphere. Breakfast is cooked to order with lots of great options and dinner had plenty for adults and kids. We enjoyed the bar, great cocktails and the kids loved the pool. Our new favourite place in Bournemouth. :
