Needs A LOT of work. Don't get me wrong, staff were young and brilliant, very accommodating. The hotel itself has quite quirky rooms. I was in a room facing the car park. The shower was fairly run down and only had a hot tap setting, so quite a difficult shower I have to admit. Room doors were rather flimsy and blinds in the bathroom were transparent. Has the potential, but it's not there yet. Not worth 100 I paid for the deluxe room.

Amazing wedding venue and everyone is so friendly and helpful at Highley Manor. I love photographing there. It's one of my favourite venues, especially because beauty of the place gives me so many opportunities to capture awesome images for my couples. I would definitely recommend it for everyone who is looking for the perfect venue for their big day!

Had my daughter and son in laws wedding reception here. Great place, staff were amazing and were on hand to help the whole day. Great food which a lot of guests commented on, great resident dj who kept the dance floor busy all night. Fantastic getting ready room for brides and quirky and comfy rooms for the night. Breakfast was great too.

Wow just wow! We got married at Highley and had the most amazing time. It really is a true gem! From start to finish I cannot fault them! The professionalism they showed was phenomenal and everything was perfect for our special day! From booking our day, to all the meetings in between and our day itself, I couldn't have wished for better. I have to say Debbie is an absolute asset to the company and our day would not have been as good without her.
She made sure we had everything we wanted and spent time on all the little details too. All our guests complimented their rooms and their stay and the service they received from the staff too. We just hope we can come back and visit one day as at the moment it is an exclusive wedding venue so hopefully in the future this may change and we can come back for an anniversary or just an overnight stay.

A superb venue, filled with history and character. From the birthplace of poets to hiding the Canadian D Day tanks in the forest during the war this hotel is both interesting and intriguing. The staff were excellent and the food spot on. You do have to forgive it for a few of its faults which I put down to the fact that it's an old building which used to be someones home.
The rooms are small and the en suite bathrooms are literally just plasterboard cupboards added at a later date. The grounds, however, are stunning and overall this hotel is well worth the 4 stars I've given it.
