Reception staff helpful and attentive, the room was just what we asked for, and the breakfast meal was great. ALL the staff we spoke to were helpful and cheerful, the only thing we found difficult was getting in and out of the shower, all the safety bars were by the tap's, so if you are of a mature age and want a bath your head is resting on the tap's. But overall we would go back in an instant.

This hotel is perfectly located right next to the park and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of parking space (with daily rate). Rooms were all different sizes as you would expect from an old style hotel. The floor was a bit creaky. But they provide a fan, ironing board and coffee/tea. All great little touches that are very much appreciated. Staff were all very friendly and professional. Pleasantly surprised

The staff were lovely, very attentive & friendly and the location couldn't be better- Set just above the beach, and opposite the BIC (We were there for a concert). The rooms however, are dated and badly in need of a refurbishment - Although we have been infomed this is due later in the year. Peeling Wallpaper, Yellowing woodwork, stained & dated furniture- It really didn't meet out expectations for a 4 star hotel in terms of decor, but the staff were impeccable, and did move us when we asked, due to the first room smelling musty. The second room didn't smell as musty, but was just as disheveled and smaller than the first.

The receptionist who checked me in was great. The other receptionist didn't even look in my direction, which felt rude. Service across the hotel seems hit and miss like this. Car parking is14! This wasn't previously mentioned, and just presumed I'd pay. Can't send an ice bucket to the room, you have to go get it. No fridge in room. Rooms need updating, it all just looks very old, though generally well maintained.

Hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable, stayed for work, however was put in a single room that was tiny and at the back of the hotel. Sadly constant smell of cannabis and multiple noises of doors going all night ruined the stay for me. In the double rooms or upgraded rooms may be a safer bet.

Great location. Lots of things within look a bit tired. On arrival had to change room twice due to a few maintenance issues, but staff were very accommodating and got an upgrade so no issues. Seemed very warm in the hotel, but couldn't work out why as our radiator wasn't on. Couldn't fault it for the price!

Very simple non fussy hotel. Greeted by staff on arrival in a cheery way, and the addition of the car park is a great help! Great location, breakfast was exactly what you'd expect from an included buffet breakfast - although the food was actually hot! Rooms are simple and straightforward. Perhaps a little outdated but this is a hotel in a seaside town so exactly what you'd expect.

Booked one night double room with sea view was ok arrived at 3 pm asked if we could sit and order food to be told they stopped serving, although a very large banner outside stating otherwise. Also to be charged 14 to park your car in the car park I find is outrageous, short staffed and the young foreign girl on reception not very polite or helpful
