It's alright. Good size room, well priced. It was on the top floor so plenty of waking to get to it. Two big issues. The mattress quality is really poor. Extremely thin and way too soft. OK maybe for lighter People or children. Only one set of keys so when I went in early I had to stay awake for the rest of the party and then climb the stairs again. Breakfast was alright too but a fairly limited choice.

Good location. Rooms clean. But coukd have been arranged a little better for space. To much in the room but not enough space to move around. Disdapointed in breakfast. It was a grab and go. No where in room to sit and enjoy it. Couldn't use space down stairs to eat it. No where outside either to sit.

Today I booked The Hedley Townhouse B&B, I then received a reply stating because of covid the breakfast would be on a grab & go basis. I phoned the B&B and told them this should have been made clear before booking as I expected a hot breakfast, his reply was "we haven't served hot breakfasts for three years" so much for covid excuse.

Very dissatisfied. I booked Hedley town house based on positive feedbacks and lovley pictures of the rooms from the booking.com. I placed my booking in April hoping I will get decent room. Unfortunately out of 68 pictures of the rooms listed on the web my room wasn't there. We didn't get family room it was tiny room with no single chair to sit or space to put our language.
Our stay wasn't pleasant it was torture. My bed had collapsing mattress with springs popping out uncomfortable to sleep the window was tiny an room was extremely hot. Our bed covers were made out of feathers in the middle of July unpossible tu sleep under. horrible experience never again.

We have just had the most amazing stay at the Hedley Hotel! Rooms were clean, hand sanitizers everywhere! The staff were so helpful and that take-away breakfast was delicious! I went for the cheese toasted sandwich and fresh chocolate cookie in the morning - this place is a little diamond! Will be returning again in September :

The managers were so lovely and welcoming as well as helpful in any questions I had. The bedrooms were really nice and lovely showers. The location was incredible. a minute away from the beach, a short walk to the town centre, and a 5 minute drive from the town station. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend.

We were expecting excellence as read a lot of good reviews. The room we stayed in was too tiny for 2 with terrible set up and hardly any space to move - very uncomfortable. The bed mattress was bowshaped so we kept sliding off hence poor sleep. Had to put a pillow underneath the mattress on both sides to keep it up. The wardrobe was pressed against the bed so that it's door could be hardly opened - we had to turn the wardrobe sideways to make it work.
The selection of teas poor - just one type of tea. Same goes for the shower - tight little cabin. This room is absolutely not worth the money we payed for it. Otherwise good location, okay breakfast. Staff not overly friendly- more business like. Overall we hoped for a more homely, warm and comfortable stay. Whatever you do - don't book the top room.
