The Hotel has a licence for civil ceremonies which take place in our golden rooms, catering for up to one hundred and ten guests, We also have smaller rooms suitable for between four and thirty guests. We are also able to offer outdoor ceremonies situated on the front lawns with the perfect backdrop the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. The rooms could do with an update but they are reasonably comfortable and very clean. The food here is absolutely amazing. Everything we ate was delicious. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and are already planning another visit but next time with friends.

Visit for afternoon tea. Lovely staff. Venue was clean. The food was very nice. My only downside was probably that they sat me in the window and it was too hot a day to be sat there. It was like being in a greenhouse. I'm sure staff would have been happy enough to move us but I didn't want to cause a huge fuss. It may be that they didn't expect it to be such a warm day.

Afternoon tea with my daughter lovely. Staff friendly & welcoming nothing too much trouble. Afternoon tea was very nice with a glass of prosecco included little niggle scones were bit over done for our taste but light & fluffy once cut into them. We had the last booking of the day & felt towards the end of our tea we had to rush a bit as staff were clearing up.
In the end we asked was there a lounge/bar where we could sit & enjoy our drinks. We were directed to the lounge only 1 other couple there they were sat with their jackets on & as we walked in it felt cold & uninviting no lights on in the bar area. Ordered our gins which were very nice but disappointed no fruit. Overall a very nice afternoon but just a bit disappointing towards the end would have stayed a little longer to enjoy another drink but we were cold & so decided to go home

Arrived for afternoon tea. Staff very friendly and all were wearing masks. 10/10. Tea consisted of a selection of finger sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and various cakes and trifle. Either tea or coffee. Prosciutto was available for an extra charge. Staff attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Visited for afternoon tea using a Groupon Coupon offer. Extremely busy and overcrowded dining room. Impersonal service by staff. Food looked lovely but was actually mediocre. I found the cake selection disappointing tasteless. It consisted of a tiny trifle, mushy meringue and squidgy eclaire. We won't be going back as really there was nothing to entice us.
