Decor very dated and in need of full refurbishment.food really good and the atmosphere was very friendly.staff very helpful, polite and friendly.would definitely return.

Rather disappointed to be twice given soya milk that had gone off and was mouldy. It was rectified eventually but shouldn't have happened in the first place, and certainly not twice

Didn't stay in the hotel, but enjoyed a fantastic meal in the restaurant. The food was of very good quality and home cooked. Staff were friendly and approachable. We enjoyed it so much that we booked and returned for breakfast the next morning, which again was one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had.

We stopped here for a snack and a drink whilst waiting for our holiday accommodation to be ready. What a great place, Rachel was a great hostess and the food was amazing. How can a sandwich taste so lovely? And the chips were amazing, the best we've ever had. we could only fault one thing. our dog wasn't welcome and had to stay in the land rover which she didn't like as she loves visiting pubs and making new friends. Maybe next time.

We had a lovely quiet room on the ground floor. (Room 10). It had a large bathroom and the Bedroom was very spacious. Great TV and tea making. Obviously no view as on ground floor, but who cares. lol

Great Hotel. Rooms are plain, simple but comfortable, with clean sheets and bathrooms. The food is with a huge menu so there should be something for all tastes. A great location for walking the local hills. Quiet and peaceful too, like a calm retreat.

I and my family have used this venue for just a meal and for a wedding on many occasions now. They couldn't be faulted for every aspect of their service, standards, and quality. We will be happy to continue to use them.
