The Monterey is a 32 bedroom family owned and run hotel which offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. We are situated on the beach front at North Promenade, St. Annes. Our location is ideal for all ages as we are a stroll away from the town centre and beach front leisure facilities which include a public swimming pool, pier, cafes, shops, a cinema, casino, paddling pool, putting green miles of golden sand, the bowling greens on Ashton Gardens and of course, the Championship Golf Course of Royal Lytham.

All Prices are for Bed & Breakfast, if you would like to add Dinner to your package please select the option during the booking process. Please note there is a 10 per night supplement for single adults staying in double rooms and 17.50 for singles in a Sea-View Room. This is payable on arrival. Dogs are invited to stay with us here at The Monterey, we charge 10 per night for dogs.

Not a bad wee hotel at all, food is spot on, staff are brilliant, can't remember the name of the lass with the glasses - she is brilliant, couldn't do enough for everyone, she made the stay even more enjoyable

Good food, friendly staff, fast meals service. Could do with a bit of a re furb in places, that's not to say it's in a bad way, it's not, it's a lovely hotel and I'll be back. Only criticism of the food was the Beef casserole and dumplings on the menu. Expected larger chunks of meat, it being a casserole, and unfortunately still waiting for dumplings. But overall, excellent hence the 5 stars

Three of us had a fabulous Tinsel and Turkey 3 day stay. Staff so helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Definetly recommend this family run hotel. Lynn Karen and Sue xx excellent

Enjoyed our stay this weekend, very attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome and it was ideal for a break with my mother in law. The breakfast was spot on and beds were very comfy

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Food was lovely. Stayed for the weekend with a bus trip. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Close to local amenities. Little bit tired looking but would definitely stay there again. Great value for money.

Lovely clean room & 2 tastie breakfast. Shame about smell from drains in bathroom but it was attended to whilst we were out. Very nice receptionist/ barman/ waiter. He was very professional & attentive in all his roles. We would recommend a short stay here.

Not impressed. Seemed nice walking in, but going further into the building, everything is very dated. Our bathroom looked recently refurbished but not finished and the shower only had a very small gap to get in. The bed was rock hard, the floor was very dusty and there was music playing very loudly gone midnight. There were positives like friendly staff and we were able to check in late but it was not worth 95.
