Green Hotel

Bought this one night stay with a voucher. We had a lovely stay, the rooms were very comfortable and the food was lovely. The staff could not do enough for you. I think we we will go again

This is our second stay at the hotel & this won't be our last. The hotel is comfortable & clean and is well located in Kinross. The breakfast menu is good & the haggis black pudding mix superb. The evening meal menu choice & dishes is equally as good, but in my opinion the portion size is too small. Even after three courses I was still hungry, that was a shame as the quality was bang on. The staff are very friendly & helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay.

The truth is this is a very tired hotel. I don't do reviews but I have to be honest Check in was fine and receptionist made us welcome As we made our way to our room you could see that this establishment needs loads of cash spent on it.threadbare and torn carpets taped up with black tape. The room was clean but somewhat very dated lunch was booked for 3pm we didn't get seated until 3.10 pm waited another 15min for our order to be taken another 10 min for starters and a further 15 min for main course.which was roast beef that was totally very.very rare that the blood was oozing out of it not nice This was followed with another 20 min wait for desert because staff forgot about us Breakfast next morning was a lot better but there was not enough out on the buffet and other guests had to keep ask for items to be replenished and it wasn't even busy Overall this has been an experience we don't wish to repeat ever again

The hotel itself is nice and in a good central place. The room I was in was big and good enough for my working visit. The thing I was disappointed in was the food. I had chosen the home made steak pie with mashed potato. The mash although vey well presented was just a very small amount. The pie tasted nice enough with chunks of meat but it was just in a dish with a pastry lid most of which was stuck to the rim of the dish. I did tell the waiter and I think he took off the price of my pint. I left and went to the chippy to fill up.

Went for a gig at the hotel and decided to stay 2 nights to make it worthwhile. Staff are great, friendly and attentive. Food and breakfast was excellent. A good size room and overall great value. The gig was the icing on the cake.

My wife and I spent the evening before St Valentine's in this very attractive and roomy hotel; had dinner, bed and breakfast. and all was well. Nice Spot. Friendly feel. Still needs a few small final refinements. like more plugs for phones and ladies stuff. Overall: Bang for Buck. Would certainly use again.

Pleasant night here. Sunday lunch was lovely. And service very good. That's the good points. Not so good points. The rooms need upgraded, new pillows needed, breakfast was extremely poor. Very cheap produce poorly cooked. Serving a broken egg and bacon that must have been lying out for ages is not what you would expect. The hotel seemed busy enough and a nice location.

The staff in the bar were excellent. But one of the highlights of going away is getting a lovely cooked breakfast. I didn't complain at the time as that spoils the nice relaxing time away. If the breakfast is sorted then it's a wee gem of a place. But work to do.

Hotel is undergoing a refurbishment. What has been completed this far is good but a lot more to do still. Vegetarian sausages had run out at breakfast. Receptionist needs to have more local knowledge on places to visit.

I took my Dad for lunch at The Green Hotel and we had a lovely time! Our waitress was friendly & efficient & the food was fantastic. I had one of the specials, a lamb bhuna which had lots of meat & a nice, spicy kick. My Dad had the fish & chips which was fresh & tasty. Both dishes were substantial and delicious. We will be back!

Staying overnight as we are going to a gig at Backstage. Lovely room, really friendly service, great food. Had the Valentine's Menu - Moules Marniere followed by Chateaubriand accompanied by two glasses of Shiraz. Absolutely out of this world!

The backstage venue is a great place to host a gig. My first time, and will certainly come back. Ps Martin Turner was first class.

It was a beautiful hotel and a lovely experience! Our bedroom was incredibly large and we had a beautiful view over the courtyard in the middle of the hotel. The food was exceptional (especially the leek and potato soup!) and the staff were lovely. The only downsides for me were that the receptionist when we arrived to check in wasn't very friendly and she seemed to be giving people specific breakfast times but she asked us what time we wanted to come down and when we suggested a later time, she said it wasn't available and to just come down whenever we wanted breakfast.

This meant we had to sit in the bar at breakfast but it was fine. She also didn't tell us the check out time and immediately asked for my card to put a 25 hold on it but she didn't explain what it was for until I asked. Apart from that, the hotel was beautiful and we had a lovely time.

This is a charming hotel with amazing staff. They can't do enough for you. The rooms are huge with everything you could want. I can't speak highly enough of this hotel. Some may find it a bit dated but I think it's part of its charm and its clean which to me is more important than decor.

Hotel is in desperate need of an update. Reception and breakfast room is lovely but the corridors and bedrooms are very dated. Not a 4 star. Food was lovely and the entertainment was great.

Staff were really friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bar area and short walk into Kinross centre. Close to golf clubs and bowling club. Hallway carpets were threadbare and very tired, but otherwise, the hotel is pretty good.

I booked this hotel in August for a concert in the hotel last night, the room was cancelled two weeks ago, stating the concert was cancelled. The concert was not cancelled as I attended last night but stayed elsewhere. Disgraceful treatment of customers. Was refunded for the room and given the difference that I had to pay for my new booking. Will not be ever booking this hotel for a stay.

Cosy hotel with a great music club. Friendly staff and pretty good food. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but very large. Very busy if there's a golf tournament on

The hotel is BIG, and as such needs a bit of a revamp. The best bit though is what goes on at the Back Stage! Great live bands etc only just visited to watch the legend that is Albert Lee. A must see.

Nice hotel, staff were superb and very helpful. Room 23, bed very firm and pillows not great but clean and standard. Dinner was traditional fare, fish and chips were tasty and fresh. Overall great location with two golf courses a seven iron from hotel reception.

Good location no problem parking and staff were friendly and helpful. Two points to note 1. If you search via Google this is not a leisure and spa hotel. No swimming pool. 2. If you require a breathing machine bring an extension lead! The plugs by the bed are round pin and square sockets are across the room under the window behind the curtains. Overall enjoyed our stay and the food was good.
