Our second visit as we enjoyed it so much the first time we visited. Hope to return soon. Family run hotel second to none.

Would highly recommend this place for a stay. We were there in December and the hospitality extended by Richard and team was amazing! There were smiles and conversations and handy tips. The Good Sport was a great place to unwind at the end of the day! We are definitely going back!

We have just returned home from this little gem. This is a family run Hotel with all the personal touches you would expect from 'hands on' owners. The welcoming lounge with roaring fires and elegant decor is the ideal place to relax and rewind with your favourite tipple. The food is top notch and the establishment is spotlessly clean. The Restaurant overlooks the lovely rear garden bathed in dappled sunlight. A private car park is always a plus too. We will definitely return as everything was simply perfect.

Just spent a night at this lovely hotel for dinner, b and b to celebrate my husband's birthday. Absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, lovely cosy decor. A family run hotel and a credit to the owners. On arrival we had complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge. Our evening meal started with drinks and canapes served by an open fire. Beautiful meal and as a vegetarian I particularly appreciated the separate menu to choose from rather than the usual mushroom risotto stuck onto a standard menu.

The food was really good and well presented. There was even a birthday card for my husband on the table! Breakfast lovely, again with a full vegan menu. The little extra touches really make the difference. Will definitely be returning! Just to add the measures taken due to covid restrictions were all in place and we felt very safe.
