Great location and ambience, with a pleasant welcome on arrival. Great view of St. Michael's Mount. Unfortunately the meal was disappointing, as it looked good on arrival. Lots of little service blunders, long wait between courses and dessert after waiting 35 mins was not enjoyable! Bill was incorrect although dessert was deducted. Such a shame as we were so looking forward to our evening. Really important that the food is tasted by the chef. Soup - not passed and Baked hake, was moist but oily and broad beans hard and overly sweet.

Booked for Sunday lunch. Had a good view of the Mount on a beautiful day but sadly found service perfunctory, one roast beef impossible to cut and then changed for pork which arrived cold. We were offered free desserts to make up for this but the meager vegetables, inability to provide a g and t without 3 attempts and real lack of concern by waiting staff to provide good service was really disappointing.

Came to Cornwall for a little break with 2 friends - Stayed only for one night but I have to say I cannot fault anything. The receptionist, the chef and waitresses were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. Greta views from the restaurant. I will be coming back :

Always love staying in this place. Views from the room incredible. Room nice and clean however could do with more hanging hooks and an extractor, at least in the bathroom. We came back with soaking wet clothes as it rained all day and our windows very quickly steamed up and never cleared again. We couldn't open the window to get any fresh air in. Food excellent. Loved the breakfast especially the freshly squeezed juices. Lovely. Will certainly be back.

Had very nice meal here sadly it was at night so no views of the Mount. I'm guessing in the summer this place will be full so book in advance. Decor inside is lovely and contemporary. Prices are average for area. Dogs are allowed in restaurant. Parking available on a pay & display car park about 50m away in summer be prepared to have to park further away and walk.

We stayed one night last night. We had the King's Cove suite which had been newly refurbished. The stay was fabulous. All staff were superb from check in to the restaurant. The view was to die for. The room was beautiful and the small touches went a long way. The dinner was scrumptious and the wine menu was a credit to this place. I cannot recommend this place enough. They deserve all the luck in the world going forward. Top class

Very lovely atmosphere with an unbeatable view. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Dog friendly throughout now under what I assumed was new management and a recent redecoration is very nice! Be mindful at this time of year (December) that the beach is infested with flies on the seaweed and quite a few of them had made it into the restaurant. The food was very expensive so we settled for a side of chips - as chips go, they were very nice!

Service from Staff was excellent. View from our table.even a foggy day. Was probably the best in Cornwall. Our Godolphin burger looked spectacular. For a 20 burger with Macdonald's style fries. I wouldn't recommend. I'd have loved a vegetarian Burger.home made perhaps. But I did pay for a super view. The Meal to me was free. I eat out a lot.those burgers are type you would cook at home for teenage son. Accept I don't. The coffee lounge was very special.and I will be back.

Wasn't the best of visits here! We went in for Coffee and hot Chocolate and wanted to sit near the window but the server made a song and dance about it being lunch time now and we hadn't booked and we were literally only staying the duration of drinking a hot drink so would have been vacating the table pretty quickly! It's beautiful in here. The seating is very comfortable and there's a lovely breakfast menu.
We have been before and had coffees and on another occasion drinks. There is a lovely garden outside which is very restful and has a great view of the Mount. Should imagine its lovely staying here!

We booked here for a special occasion. We were told they run a first come first serve for window seats this doesn't appear to be the case the hotel residents get the window seats. That aside we were happy with the decor etc of the modern restaurant. The service was a bit hit and miss we were waiting quite sometime and found it difficult to get a servers attention.
The main lady in the restaurant did come across a bit fake, our waitress Georgia was very nice I had a little chat with her after our meal. We throughly enjoyed our food. The view is stunning.

Loved our meal here! Food was amazing (limited vegan options but didn't go hungry by any means). Cocktails were delicious! The thing that struck me most was how the waiting staff were really standout - polite, friendly and made us feel super welcomed. Dog friendly too which is fab. The place looks brill - the decor is thoughtful with little touches that make it feel warm and cosy.
Amazing views of the beach and St Michael's Mount - very hard to beat. Recommend booking ahead. Parking available at a pay and display 1min walk away. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Godolphin Hotel is in a fantastic setting & the views of St Michaels Mount are wonderful. We were celebrating our Golden Wedding anniversary. However we had Room 6. It is an amazing room but unfortunately the music that was being played in the restaurant from 8am until 11pm could be heard in our sitting room so we couldn't use it. Had to complain every day! Shame really as that did spoil our stay.
Also I feel the vegetarian options on the menu are limited. So could do with more choices. Having said that I did enjoy what I had. Would definitely recommend this hotel but watch out for room 6.

Love this place it's a must to when in Cornwall. Went there on Wednesday 20th Oct at lunchtime fully booked but they were very accompanying and served us at one of the tables reserved for teas. The restaurant us attached to the hotel, it's a very busy place both hotel and restaurant but as the old adage says "you get what you pay for". The food is made to order and is always fresh the calamari is a firm favourite in our family but all if the food is mouth watering.
The drinks are reasonable and if you fancy a cocktail fill your boots with a jug my hubby and i shared a jug at 22.50 we got 3 drinks each a single is 7.50 fortunately my son drove you will need a responsible adult who will drive for you if not staying in the area. They are really good with children and really accommodating with the menu. I would thoroughly recommend this place and intend to visit next year.

Stumbled upon Godolphin as we did not have Internet so could not check online and they had availability for lunch. Turned into a great find. The views are brilliant and the service was very friendly. The food also did not disappoint. Started with fried calamari, a good size portion and it had a little kick to it. The most impressive dish, though, was my main of mussels.
I ordered the large size, as I've never had too many mussels, but this really was a large. Huge portion of mussels, nice sized and meaty ones and the broth was incredible. I have never before felt so stuffed from mussels, well worth it. The only disappointment was the bread nibble. Four pieces of bread for 6 pounds feels excessive, especially compared to the reasonable food prices. All in all, very happy we stopped here and would go back.

We had dinner here two nights in a row, which is rare for us. This is because (1) the other restaurants/pubs in town have *much* more limited hours and availability, and (2) it was delicious. Overall, it's a large restaurant space (attached to a hotel) that has an outdoor area that overlooks Mont St. Michel. The tables were spread out enough for comfort, and it was casual and relaxed.
The service was excellent on both nights. They are open later than seemingly any other restaurant in town, which is very convenient. They have a local beer special: you get three 1/2 pints of Cornish beer/cider for the price of 1 pint. It was a good deal, and the beers and ciders were tasty. In addition to the regular menu, there are 3-4 specials each night.
We tried out the fish and chips, burger, lamb shoulder, hake, power salad, and monkfish (special) - and we all enjoyed our food. While we were there, the waiters sang happy birthday to a diner and brought him a cake with sparklers, which was fun. We would definitely return!

We keep returning here when in the area, as the food is consistently interesting and tasty, without being over the top. And the view of the Mount is to die for. I think there is a new chef, and the food now seems better than ever. Recent meals have included seared rump of Cornish lamb with crushed new potatoes and pink peppercorns; and hake tagine with almond and apricot rice and flatbread.
Excellent desserts too, with summer berry bread and butter pudding with clotted cream a standout. They do a lovely espresso martini too. Dinner for two (main, pud, drinks) was 65. It's a must.

Very nice pub, situated over four levels, which all take advantage of the spectacular views of St. Michaels Mount. Great areas for eating or enjoying the views and a quiet pint. You shouldn't be put off by the prices as the food is excellent quality and worth the extra holiday treat, so indulged yourself, you deserve it.

Sunday carvery is very tasty and is only complimented by a view to die for (especially if you get the table in the window!). Can get very busy (shows just how good it is) so would recommend booking for a special occasion. Definitely one to add to the list of places to try, if you haven't already done so.
