This place was well situated just outside the main hustle of Penzance, they have 3 parking spaces, ok if you have a small car, on street parking is free if you can find a spot (we didn't), or a small carpark for 2.50 for 24 hours. You can also park on the street after 5pm, as long as you move before 9am the next day. Interesting place to stay, we were on the top floor in room 10, so lots of steep steps to climb.
At first I thought the breakfast was weird, being delivered to your room at 8am, but we'd had full English for a couple of days, so it was a welcome break from that. Not sure I'd stay again sadly, lots of little things would stop me, but others likely to have a different experience.

We came early like past 1pm. Dragged our heavy luggages hope to check in early but we can only check in after 3pm. Asked if we can leave the luggages and we were asked to put them next to the little hut. I saw that's the room without other luggages so our luggages left there. There keys for the room hanging at the key hole, so I though just lock it and hold the keys.
When we returned from Land's End for the check in. The English boss was unhappy and lectured us about taking things and leaving things in the place at our own risk. Who knows? In my mind, I was thinking why don't they hold the key and direct us to the place to leave the luggages and they lock it after the guests left their luggages with them which we trust them?
But I will like to give this place a 4 stars. Why? I do see a lot of efforts they maintain this place, the room and maintenance of the building, cracks, plants etc. They are doing their best to keep their business running and trying to improve as much as they can. I will suggest they take up some certified courses in hospitality and management. As this place may not just taking in locals but global. People will not read your policy. Keep up the good work! Don't stress the lady boss too much and we love the hot shower!

Satisfactory stay. Really good central Penzance location, limited parking available and on street parking. Breakfast was cute and is a fresh sandwich, pastry, cereal and fruit options but very limited selection and delivered to your door at 8am, so unfortunately no lie ins. Room service was very thorough but however you had to have vacated your room by 11am so no lazy mornings either.
Our room was quite small and in need of modernisation, along with bathroom - tiny shower! Mattress was hard and dipped in the middle. We were woken up by noise early in corridors and outside due to old windows. It was very quirky but for the same price I have stayed in much better.

We have stayed in other BnBs which have also changed their breakfast due to COVID and so it is for this reason I think Estoril could definitely do better with theirs. The options weren't great and the quality could improve. The room itself was alright however it could have been cleaner. Finally, the outside area could do with a table and some chairs you can actually sit in.

Convenient location, street parking, 2 minutes walk to the promenade and the tropical gardens in Morrab Road. Good selection for breakfast. Rooms are spacious and have high ceilings with plenty of natural light coming through the tall sash windows, decor a little tired but overall OK. Good Wi-Fi signal and speed.

My father had to walk out of the hotel after being rudely treated by the reception staff. Because the booking cannot be cancelled, my father was treated with an attitude like: suck it or go. He went and lost the money paid for the room. I would call this legal theft and very unprofessional service with very poor consideration for the client. Avoid at all costs.

We paid extra 50 pounds for 2 nights because of 2 children (3 and 9 years - they are sleeping with parents and do not need their own room - we've booked 2 rooms for 6 people). That is not good enough. This place is romantic: there are even 8 fishes swimming in their minipool. The woman homeowner is a very caring person - thanks a lot to her. She is making our staing better. Breakfasts.
What can I say? Crousants with coffee and a plate of fruits, hot omlet and some pear and sausages. And jams, of course. Yeap, crousants are the best food for breakfast there. Good luck!
