Gidea Park Hotel

A very good small hotel. Clean and tidy, quiet and modern rooms. Excellent service from a very friendly team. Breakfast was well cooked and the coffee was great. Don't hesitate, it's easy to recommend this one. Free parking.

We have a small room on ground floor and perfectly adequate for our needs, the lady on front desk can't do enough for us she also seems to the cook and cleaner but brilliant service.

Comfy bed, clean room and excellent breakfast. A bit noisy at night, but it's on a busy road.

A couple of visits recently. Very welcoming receptionist on arrival and enjoyed my stay.

Clean tidy room with 2 single beds warm and quite experence friendly staff pleasant atmosphere would stay again like home from home. Thank you guys.

We booked this hotel month ago to go to a festival, 3 weeks before its due they cancelled our room and we can not book anywhere else for the date. GUTTED would never use them again

Nice little hotel and great prices for the area, receptionists was lovely and helped us with bags while showing us to the room. UPDATE: Thanks for the reply, sorry I didn't realise it said reduced headroom as I didn't book it but taking that into account its our fault and I've changed it to 5 stars. Great hotel keep it up :

Worst hotel ever. Staff very rude and owner is a disgrace would never stay here again, warn any future guests to stay elsewhere not worth the hassle! I wouldn't give it a star if I had the option. Drove 4 hours to get there and arrived at 11am and asked to use the toilet, I was greeted very poorly and just about let to go (I did not ask to check in I asked to used the toilet facilities as didn't know the local area).

I then arrived at 8pm to check in having been for a meal and specified upon arrival for a twin room which I paid and wasn't even ready (bare in mind my check in time was 3pm.) I am reading comments from management saying I was aggressive which I think is being confused with upset. A) if I was aggressive why did you not kick me out B) why did you serve me with a beer at the bar?

I think an example of how the managment is trying to argue with me over Google reviews shows how much of a confrontational place this is. Avoid at all costs there are much better places in and around the area

Single room more like cupboard bathroom woukd fit nicely in a barbie house, staff member on arrival was not the greatest

We needed to book 7 rooms for a wedding at short notice, the staff at the hotel were so accommodating. Our guests all commented on how pleased they were with the quality of the rooms, and breakfast. We had to change one room on the day; and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Really nice place to stay, friendly staff, very clean rooms. Breakfast in the morning was ace. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. 5 stars from me.

Absolutely disgusted about how my booking was dealt with. booked online. Called them to confirm and a rude lady answered and told me there fully booked even though I'd just paid for a room. all they did was blame a website. that isn't my problem when I've paid and booked for a room and now have no where to stay
