Urban Beach

Lovely little hotel, clean, warm welcome, the outside bar area is a lovely place to sit with a drink, staff are amazingly helpful and friendly! It was our 10th wedding anniversary and birthday combined, we were given a complimentary liquor drink on arrival and we were very well looked after throughout our stay! Room nice and modern and clean! Couldn't fault it, everything is local and accessible. We will definitely be back again for an overnight stay!

Breakfast used to be good here, but they've updated the full english. The eggs come poached as standard and the 'thyme' potatoes were actually the driest thing I've had in a long time (Just boiled new potatoes, no seasoning, definitely no thyme, no butter, just sort of smashed) The pancakes were also burnt and stale today.

Delicious English breakfast and a perfect sea view seating. Wonderful start to the day.

Lovely atmosphere. Fish and chips was great, full of flavour, good quality batter and fish. Beth was our server and makes this place a go to destination. Friendly, engaging, fun and attentive. Everything you want in a companion for the evening. Her energy was infectious and she's a credit to her profession. She also thought my husband was her favourite, so extra points there. Will definitely be back.

Our second stay and it was as wonderful as before. The staff are so friendly, the food brilliant, room very chic and outside area is amazing. We've already booked to come again!

I like the restaurant. Been there a few times and never been disappointed. Breakfast was good. Dinner time food was also good.

Having always really liked 'Urban beach' I treated my daughter and partner to an over night stay. The food was great, the room lovely, but neither of them could take a bath as no hot water, stay away from room 8,t hey did report to manager! Have made a complaint, but they weren't very helpful, won't be going back, such a shame,

Great room, lovely staff! Me and my girlfriend were both very happy with our stay and the warm welcome from the staff really cheered us both up after a rubbish travel down from london. Will be returning again

Hubby and enjoyed a late breakfast here yesterday. Friendly host, heated seats were awesome. I could feel it would be quite a buzzy place in the Summertime. Look forward to spending a night here next time we're down that way.

Cheese board 8.50, 3 pieces of cheese (brie, stilton and not sure) approx 3/4 inch square, 4 crackers (appeared to be tesco ones), 4 matchsticks of celery and some grapes. So bad I laughed about it.

Love this place, I've eaten here a few times. Most recently with just my Daughter. We both had a clasic cheese burger and it was amazing.

We recently experienced a lovely stay at Urban beach and plan on returning again very soon. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, the food/drink was delicious and we stayed in a really cosy room on the top floor. They also do amazing cocktails! I highly recommend them if you're in the Bournemouth/Boscombe area.

Enjoyed some lovely nights out here, friendly team with a great atmosphere. Good selection of draft beers and lagers. Best to arrive without a car if you can, parking on the street is a challenge at busy/popular times.

Just had a wonderful 3 days stay fantastic place to stay rooms, food, and all those that work here superb. Would recommend a stay without hesitation. Hopefully be back as soon as we get a chance.

Fantastic hotel in a quiet area, with extremely good rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only negative I think is was having to move the kettle to boil it, as there was no plug socket behind the drinks tray, but that's really, really minor. I'd recommend it highly.

We've been here for drinks, and for dinner. You can sit under the stars in an enclosed space, or you can sit indoors. Wherever you are, you will be treated with friendliness, courtesy, and efficiency. You will get great food and good drinks, with a choice to meet the most demanding food foibles (particularly good vegetarian alternatives to many of the items on the menu).

You will leave there feeling that you've had a great evening, and you will want to come back. But if you want to try somewhere different, try the sister restaurant on the beach: the tuna salad is exceptional and the setting is unbeatable.
