Travellers have been welcomed here for more than 200 years and that timeless warm, friendly atmosphere is apparent as soon as you walk through the front door.
Our accommodation in Bude, North Cornwall, overlooks the Bude Canal and is just a two-minutes stroll from the beach. Rooms offer views of the hotel's gardens or the picturesque Bude Canal. All rooms are en-suite with iron and ironing board, direct dial telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, free wifi and Smart TV's.
The Falcon Hotel in Bude, North Cornwall, has several bedrooms and dining spaces that are dog-friendly. You and your four legged companion can explore miles of Bude's beautiful beaches and country walks from the comfort of our perfectly located hotel. No need to move the car once you get here. We charge 15 a day for your canine companion and provide a warm welcome with his or her very own bed, food/drink bowls, free treats, even a sausage for breakfast and a pat from our doting proprietor!Here at the Falcon we love dogs!
Here at The Falcon we are very proud of our beautiful gardens. The walled gardens were completely landscaped in 1998 to commemorate the founding of the hotel. Carefully maintained to look their best all year round, with stylish terraces, arches and balconies, they offer an ideal place to relax in peaceful surroundings and also offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

Just as advertised. Pleasant, clean and spacious room with a cracking view out over the river. Staff were welcoming and helpful - even quickly helping us solve an unexpected parking problem. The breakfast was lovely, with a nice continental selection and a full Cornish that looked fantastic and which I regret don't having! Would happily visit again.

The staff make this hotel, every single one that we came into contact with where friendly, helpful, cheerful and respectful. Thank you all. Restaurant and bar had a good choice of meals and wines, breakfast was very nice good selection also. We had a nice view of the canal and beach and the shower in the room was awesome. Overall a lovely stay for 3 days.

I booked an afternoon Cornish cream tea for a 70th birthday celebration. The Falcon team were outstanding with, organisation, advise, ideas and on the day were friendly, efficient, discreet and totally wonderful. Delighted with the whole experience. We were looking for a champagne breakfast in the area for a special birthday, but couldn't find anything. After speaking to the Falcon, they understood what we were looking for and agreed to host us, even though they did not officially offer the service. The spread was excellent, with continental bread, cheese and meats, plus prosecco and a full English, and with the many different dietary requirements of our group respected and catered for. In addition, our hostess Amanda was amazing; friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Well recommended, dog friendly, and we look forward to dining here again.

Really tasty meal this evening, as with all places they are understaffed but those there are very helpful and really hard working. Credit to the kitchen too as the food was not only very nice (I had the burger ) but the prawn cocktail starter priced at 10:50 is so big it would definitely do 2 people easily. The same for the smoked salmon salad, this was lovely and fresh and the amount of excellent smoked salmon was again of a shareable portion. Will definitely return

This is our go to hotel for when we need a holiday. Full of very helpful staff, comfort and good food. It is unfortunate we are in trying times at the moment, but the staff are going above and beyond to make sure our stay was 5* as it has been over the past 25 years. A particular thank you goes to Amanda, Chloe, Alan and Nicola. Hope to see you all again in March 22
