Had lunch there today, beautiful lamb tagine. I don't eat rice or chips, and was offered salad instead. Well what a lovely salad, it took up half the plate, served with a great dressing. Well worth a visit. We did not use the rooms as are staying in our caravan, however if they are looked after as the bar is looked after, then they will be great.

Food wasn't great sadly, had veggie risotto but it wasn't really a risotto, it was normal rice cooked in vegetable stock with yellowing broccoli and cheap peas, rather than arborio rice for risotto. Sadly wouldn't visit again. Generally a bit of a smell of fryer fat as well. The staff were lovely but the food needs improvement.

A meal out as a treat. All was good. Partner loved his meal, mine was good but steak lacked flavour although cooked perfectly. Not going to criticise service which was great until it got a bit busier and they forgot about us for dessert. But most places are currently short staffed so I understand it can be difficult. Garden is lovely and overall the place has a nice atmosphere.
