Duke Of Gordon Hotel

Weve had some fabulous holidays at the Duke of Gordon, Kingussie over the years. A very comfortable hotel with friendly, welcoming staff!

Excellent holiday, but journey was way too long, too many out of way pickups

Lovely holiday and I felt COVID safe. Checks on coach with temperature and the coach and hotel were spotless food was lovely too Well done

My parents who are in their 80's used this company. They went on a 6 night tour to Bournemouth but the coach left a day early without any prior notice leaving my parents stranded 250 miles from home. They offered no alternative travel for my parents and have never even contacted them to ensure that they returned safely. This is a despicable uncaring attitude from a tour company.

Please do not believe them when they say the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is paramount at all times. It clearly isn't otherwise they would not have left 2 pensioners stranded at the other end of the country. Totally unacceptable but they haven;t apologised or even answered our complaints. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic food, cooked to perfection and all allergies catered for. The hotel is Immaculate and all rooms are kept in first class condition. There is an open fire in the foyer as you enter and it reminds you of olden days standing with your back to the fire. It's wonderful. Coming up to Christmas all the windows in the best room is dressed with a Christmas tree in every window.

My husband and I have been quite a few times, if you can go, then, it is a wonderful place to base yourself in, the train station is just down the road, avemore is not far as is lots more destinations. Please give it a try.

We had a lovely time, les our driver was very helpful and as we went along on our trips told us lots of information about things we passed the trip to brodie castle was good as was the clansman centre at Fort Augustus. He then took us to the funicular railway and got our tickets.all in all it was very enjoyable. David should be proud of his staff both coach drivers and duke of Gordon hotel thank you

Just came home on Saturday from your snowflake trip to the Cairngorms. Very satisfied with everything the Duke of Gordon very welcoming and the staff were excellent bar and restaraunt. The coach driver Steve P was informative, friendly and helpful. Will book again

I have to write to say a big thank you for a wonderful and eventful and exciting holiday the coach arrived on time which was good as it was a cold rainy day our coach driver was Walt and knew all the interesting things and told us about them. the excitment started on the A9 road to Inverness when we heard one big bang and we had a blow out on the coach back tyre Walt kept us informed of everything happening it was not long before the breakdown people had the tyre replaced and on our way to the Duke, were the wonderful staff had stayed to serve us with our first wonderful evening meal well done staff. our visits were wonderful, Cairncorms wonderful veiws, all our trips wonderful.

Thank you once again and lookink forward to my next trip. Lesley Friday we woke to no electric but I had woken early so had, had my shower and dried my hair was dressed and put the kettle on then darkness I was able to open my door and have a bit of light as there was a emergency light out side the night porter was checking on everyone and said it was lighter down stairs as I am disabled he helped me dowm the stairs with the very powerful torch where he made a pot of tea, and we all had a cooked breakfast in candle light. all I can say is well done Cairngorms travel and well done the Duke and all the staff.

We had a superb 5 day holiday at TheDuke of Gordon hotel in Kingussie, our driver Daren was excellent, he did more than was required of him by a long way, his sense of hummer kept us all entertained. The staff at the hotel were superb and the food was very good. Thanks to everyone concerned.
