We went to Cringletie for the high tea on a Friday afternoon. We were a large group and were able to sit at one table. The start to the tea was good, we all got our selections. The food was brought promptly. The rest of the dining room was empty, not even one guest was around. After we got our food the staff disappeared and were nowhere to be found.
We needed water glasses topped up, more tea, more how water but no staff came to check on us. What was everyone doing? There were no other guests at the property. The food was delicious but the service needs much to be desired. The grounds are amazing and beautifully kept.

Not only is this estate extremely relaxing, picturesque, and beautiful the staff is amazingly friendly. The food is to die for. I can't say enough good things about our stay. We held our wedding here and it was absolutely everything we dreamed of, if not better. I would recommend this stay to anyone and everyone! Natalie, one of the managers stayed in constant contact to ensure that we had everything we needed and wanted. Unfortunately, she was unable to be there during our stay but left us in extremely capable hands of Leigh.
The owner was extremely friendly and was greeting all the guests and thanking everyone for their stay. They left beautiful flowers in our room as an amazing welcome gesture. If you have the opportunity to stay here DO SO! They went above and beyond in every aspect of our stay.

Can't fault the staff very pleasant, efficient and polite and went out of their way to make the experience nice. Food very good apart from pudding which was overcooked and made it inedible. Conservatory for coffee was once a lovely experience but was a little tired in decor (although spotless). Needed some quiet music to liven it up and the flowers were past there sell by date. None of this is hard to sort. Such a shame I have very fond memories of Cringletie and we will visit again and hope that these hiccups will be sorted.

Loose yourself in this magical place. Full of charm and character, the perfect break away to relax and recharge. The Owner and the general manager have Cringletie running smoothly and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is out of this world and will have your taste buds dancing with delight. It's like stepping back in time to sheer luxury, magnificent grounds envelope you with their beautiful sights, smells and sounds. Flora and forna galore, fragrant scents drift by. Birds happily chirping away. "The perfect place to stay"

We had a great 3 night stay at Cringletie on their first weekend of opening post Covid! The staff were great and accommodating and the hotel and grounds were immaculate. The food was excellent and more than worthy of the awards which have been given to the chef and team. It was obvious that changes had been made the deal with the required changes for Covid but these were subtle and did not interfere with our stay in any way.
Lovely Arran aromatics product in the bathroom and a relaxing bath with that was divine! We took our dog with us and she was made to feel very welcome all weekend. A truly 5 star experience and we will be back. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic stay. Staff very warm and friendly. Rooms wonderful and surroundings beautiful. Food was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Booked a room for a special birthday and we were upgraded to a suite. Overall, gorgeous hotel with a homely comfortable feel. Thank you team Cringletie, we loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Spent one night with friends and had a very delicious dinner with matching wines. My room was perfect and every comfort had been thought of and provided. Also the staff were charming and helpful. Didn't get the chance to explore the grounds, but look forward to returning and discovering more about this little gem of a hotel.
