At Gairloch Highland Lodge value for money has not been achieved at the expense of quality, Nowhere is this better illustrated than in our bedrooms. All rooms, some with sea view, are fully en-suite, with bath tub and shower, remote-control colour TV, direct-dial telephone, alarm, radio, hairdryer, shaver point, heated towel rail, trouser press, hospitality tray, electric blanket, baby listening and guest adjustable central heating.

Access is very poor for coaches causing damage to the bottom of your coach as the incline is very steep. The rooms are old very dated and smell of damp the women on reception has a extremely bad attitude and the evening meal was a 5 minute walk away in a pub owned by them I would not recommend this place and would stay at the big hotel in the village.

Majority of photos online don't reflect the hotel in Scotland, I think they are mixed up with a different hotel. In serious need of updating, the decor is dated and everything looks and smells old. The rooms smelt damp and fousty. The bathroom looked grubby and in need of a deep clean and the shower was mouldy and leaking. Restaurant only capable of serving breakfast so wasnt happy with the 5 minute trek to the pub to eat my tea. Also, Wasn't impressed with the attitude of some of the staff, not very friendly and extremely unhelpful and could do with learning some basic manners. Highly disappointed and certainly will not be returning.

The rooms are in desperate need of updating same goes for the public lounge. Let's do the time warp comes to mind because this place is still in the 80's. Shower not much good in a bathroom with no heating. Folk visit here to do the outdoors so you come back to a poor shower in a cold room is not what you want and for 112 per night is not good value. My advise is find elswhere to stay.
