Beautiful location. Intriguing history of the castle and each room has presence of granduar. Attended my daughter's wedding and it was just so beautiful and relaxed. The staff were so attentive, polite and helpful. The venue in the theatre was just fabulous! Thank you for making our stay special.

Attended for a friend's wedding, having travelled 16 hours and looking forward to a warm shower and to change clothes to go meet friends who hadn't seen in 3 years due to covid, checked in at 6pm and paid the 220 for the 2 nights before seeing the room. Upon seeing the room realised the toilet had been leaking, a tiny drop had flooded the bathroom floor (shows room was not checked the evening of arrival) as I was informing the Receptionist Dani, my partner realised there was no hot water. Dani advised we could use the gym showers, not ideal and very frustrating but was happy to shower, however: cold water here also. WiFi was not working as there was "too many connected" to it.

By 8pm, this was not resolved, tired, hungry, smelly and frustrated with the hotel while all other wedding guests were enjoying meeting each other. Maintenance were not on site and we were expected to wait, with no where to shower. We ended up checking out, waited two days for refund to appear. Dani was very helpful and we did receive a free dinner, but I would be devastated if my friends had travelled to my wedding and had this experience. Dani helped us book a bnb down the road that was cheaper and was absolutely beautiful, I can't fault Dani, but the hotel owners and Upper level management should be appalled at how their building failed their guests.

I've worked in bnbs, 1 star hotels and 4 star hotels in Ireland and I've never seen a guest experience anything like this. The hotel also emailed us the day after we checked out to let us know the issue was resolved within 2 hours, which I struggle to believe as we have receipts for payment and refund that show time was 1 hour 50 minutes between payment and refund. *In response to hotel reply: we were still in the hotel at 10 to 8, and only left our room at 7.20pm to go to the showers in gym, Also, Under no circumstances were we offered another room!

We would of taken this straight away if one was available in the hotel that had warm water and a non leaking toilet. In fact, we were quite willing to get over the leaking toilet if it meant be able to shower and join other guests. I am leaving this review for other possible wedding parties.

What a beautiful place to have a wedding! The service took place in a lovely mini "Opera house" then following that you had outstanding grounds and buildings to wander about, and due to the location it is so peaceful. The staff were all helpful and professional and the food was lovely. I would say the highlight could well be the view from the rear of the castle, lots of the non Welsh guests were gobsmacked by the beautiful trees and surrounding hills on show.

Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding. Food was superb, staff went above and beyond, castle is vast with beautiful grounds and steeped in history. Reasonably priced. Only advice I would give to others, its a castle, therefore possibly colder than you may be used to, however, didn't deflect from my enjoyment. Would definitely stay again.

What an absolute fairy tale dream! We first booked our wedding here for April of 2020. From our first interaction the staff has been sensational and the venue itself is breathtaking. By the time we had our first (delicious) meal there I was in love with this venue! They were so understanding and supportive through our multiple date changes, guest changes, and general pandemic alterations, even offering to provide the theatre for free and set up an outdoor picknic for us when we hoped to get married just prior to lockdown.

I'm happy to report that we were finally successful in having the wedding of our dreams here, but even my wild imaginings couldn't have come close to how wonderful our stay was. We booked the castle for the whole weekend as we had quite a few people traveling internationally and we were concerned about guests driving after a few drinks. The value for money was absolutely mind blowing!

Every other venue we looked at (and there were quite a few) offered less than half the experience for more than twice the price! While the beauty, history, delicious food and value for money are all amazing selling points for this castle, it's true strength is in its staff! They were so lovely, warm, welcoming, accomidating and capable. I honestly felt like they were just as invested in making my guests feel valued and looked after as I was.

They're the type of people that if you show them kindness, respect and gratitude, they give it back to you ten times over. We can't wait to come back and stay whenever we're in the area!

Gorgeous setting, staff are lovely but wasn't impressed with the breakfast. Self serve buffet style, which I like, but the plates to place your cooked breakfast on were cold, bacon was barely cooked, other items were not very hot either. The toaster machine did not toast unless you put it through a couple of times. A few of the guests in the same group as me said their rooms were cold and had to request extra blankets etc. Heating wasn't working in a couple of their rooms.

Beautiful venue! Stunning location! Great, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. A few things could do with updating but tbh it's a very old castle so that would just be being picky! Would definitely go back!

My wife and stayed here in 2005. It was our Honeymoon. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences ever. We stayed in a room on the ground floor behind the opera house. We woke up to the ground being covered in snow! The staff was incredible, the food was great and conversations were endless. Some time soon we will return. If your in Wales you owe it to yourself to stay at Craig Y Nos Castle.

Attended a wedding. Rooms very well appointed. Spacious, clean and with comfortable beds. The staff were helpful and patient, dealing with even the fussiest and most manic of children. The breakfast was well cooked too. Plenty of sausages and tea.

Stunning STUNNING place! The staff were faultless, the castle and grounds beautiful, the exclusive use for the wedding perfect and the food delicious. All in all, a completely joyous occasion. And given the state of my feet, back and hips the following morning, a disability-friendly bathroom was very welcome!;-

Beautiful wedding location, also seems like an awesome place for a ghost hunt. Visited for our friends wedding, brilliant setup and use of the rooms to accommodate a weddings. Guest rooms were great, had everything we needed, plenty of space in the Castle and grounds to explore. Sorry we didn't get many photos, too busy having a great time. Well worth a visit, we will be back to explore some more!
