We enjoyed staying in a beautiful lodge with pine trees all around and red squirrels occasionally. Our lodge was plentifully large and I like having the living room, kitchen and dining area - open plan - on the upper floor with the bedroom downstairs because it brings the tree canopy close. The whole site, the lodge and the furnishings are all excellent and up to Hilton standards In the general area we found interesting walks and views, pleasant cafes and restaurants and some elegant homes. We stayed at Craigendaroch some years ago and will return.

We stayed at the one of the HGV's Lodges from December 28th to Jan 6th. We very much enjoyed it, the Lodge was very spacious and had great appliances including dishwasher, fan oven, fridge freezer, washer and dryer and also walk in dryer. The bathroom looked like it had been modernised and had great facilities. The rest of the lodge did appear slightly dated, with decor seeming to date to early 2000's however the facilities were good and the receptionist advised the Lodges will be going through renovations in the upcoming years. I would absolutely stay again, very relaxing and peaceful. As always the hilton staff were so kind and generous!

Wonderful location, great service and the lodges are fully kitted out and the range of activities available at the countryside club are vast. If by chance when the weather is a little more snowy you can hit the ski slope which is a short drive away. If you fancy a walk upto the Craigendorroch summit, the walking trail is behind the countryside club.
We were fortunate to see the giant sequioa tree decorated with lights and a star a week before Xmas. It is worth noting to see the Sequioa trees upfront as they are vast in size. We enquired about the fish and chips at reception which are served at the Keiller Loung, they serve locally sourced fresh produce. Our enquiry was to see if they were fried in vegetable oil and not cross contaminated i.e Halal and were given assurances by the Keiller Lounge kitchen staff/chef that they can meet our dietary requirements. Nice ambiente environment in the restaurant and very polite staff who are efficient and friendly and knowledgable.

Fabulous place. Lodges are superbly kitted out - really top class. All amenities there, you just have to get your own food. You simply cannot ask for more. It's the staff who really make it special and nothing is ever too much bother, plus they all have superb local knowledge. As someone else has written I'd be back there tomorrow if time and opportunity permitted! Easily the best holiday I've had in 45 years of holidaying. Thanks to everyone for making it special.
