My Wife and I finally got married at this beautiful Manor House last Saturday. When I say finally, it is because we were due to get married in 2020, but then covid got in the way. From the moment we went to view The Court Colman Manor the staff could not have been any better, they were helpful and friendly from the moment we stepped through the doors!
Then when we had to postpone our wedding, I can honestly say the staff were just as upset about it as we were, not only were they willing to move our date 3 times to accommodate us but they also made sure we felt no stress in doing so. On our wedding day, the staff and especially Alison made our day go as smoothly as possible, we did not have to do a thing and nothing was too much for them!
They kept us informed with everything without being over bearing and they also joined in on all of the fun too! The food was exceptional, the portion size for each course was perfect! There is so much more I could say about The Court Colman Manor but I would like to tell anyone that is reading this, if you're thinking of booking here for your wedding, DO IT! You will not be disappointed! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Arranged to have evening wedding meal and overnight stay for guests to have a distasteful meal and other guests from another wedding reception kept coming into my privately paid room when I asked them to leave three times the hotel didn't bother, prior to arranging the evening stay and meal the hotel were disorganised and kept passing me from person to person.
On the wedding evening stay myself and my newly wed husband were kept awake by guests smoking weed in corridors and running around shouting and banging doors, complained to hotel in the morning only to be told nothing they could do and charged me an additional 200 for apparently guests not paying for food and hotel rooms. hotel was quite aware of whom my guests were and what rooms they stayed in so why they didn't charge them directly and let them leave and charged myself instead I do not understand! I attempted to speak to a manger who told me to contact them in a weeks time to which I did and was ignored!

Staff were amazing and always happy and helpful. We stayed in the French suite which was absolutely fantastic. The room was clean and tidy with a superb bathroom. The evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding, great food and great service. Breakfast the next day was equally delicious with happy, attentive staff. Another great stay in this first class manor.

Just enjoyed afternoon tea here with friends. It was exceptional, the presentation was exquisite, the cakes and scones were very freshly baked.and the cheese croissants just melted in the mouth.absolutely scrumptious. The afternoon tea was excellent value for money and exceeded all expectations. It was top notch, and to a very high standard. No boring run of the mill sandwiches there was something to suit all tastes.in fact i would award more than 5 stars if possible Highly recommend, thank you to the chef for all his hard work

This is one of those hidden gems that definitely need to be explored. We were attending a wedding at the venue. The decor and overall appearance does need a little touch up but is generally pleasing. The Manor grounds are well maintained and great for photo opportunities. The Wedding and reception were absolutely spot on, the food, the staff, the timings were like a well oiled machine and the team couldn't be praised enough for their efforts in making the day and perfect.
There were 2 bars open in the evening however 1 was cash only, yet there were no ATM's on site. The toilets on site for the venue were well maintained and stocked throughout the day and night. The rooms available at the Manor are Great! Some are more modern than others( the less modern ones do have bits of updating and proper fixing to be done). Ourselves and a few other guests did find throughout the evening that our door latches weren't returning properly and several doors were found to be open upon return.
Our room was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. Bath robes, hand towels and cleaning products were provided. There was a large TV in the room with a swivel stand which hit the nail on the head as we are early birds but like to watch a certain TV program. The walls are not sound proof and nothing from the halls was muffled in any way. The breakfast offering was absolutely delightful and all of the guests that we spoke to had nothing but praise for it and the staff and setting. Overall we really liked it and can't wait to go again. Well Done to all of the staff and management involved.
