Good location, quite nice hotel, service good. Gym satisfactory. Small room and towel rail belting out heat made for an uncomfortable night. Asked staff to correct next morning but nothing was done! Nice ambience in bar at the end of the night but bar full of dirty glasses like Ive never seen before!

We stayed in a lodge suite. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Bath not full size and shower curtain a nightmare. Rail brings shower curtain diagonally across bath which leaves little room to manoeuvre without getting wrapped up! Sliding door to bathroom left little to the imagination! Breakfast superb. Service excellent. Nice quiet location close to everything.

I Highly recommend the Connaught hotel. I was lucky enough to book our wedding which took place in April 2022. Maria, Simon and their team were professional, accommodating and invested in making our day everything we wanted - and more. I stayed in the hotel as a guest the night before our wedding, used the spa and ate in the restaurant. Food in the restaurant was to such a high standard - when we arrived late the hotel staff did everything to ensure we were able to order a dessert with kitchen staff staying on past finishing times to assist.

We completed our menu tasting around a month before our wedding, it was a real treat - at times difficult to choose which was our favourite! Once agreed on our menu we were anxious for the wedding day as we had been boasting to our guests, how amazing the food had been - we didn't want to be let down. There was no need to even be anxious, the food came out to every guest faultlessly - on hot plates and cooked to perfection all 50+ of our guests were impressed.

The vegan options were commented as some of the best vegan meals when compared with restaurants. What truly makes the Connaught so special and worth visiting is the staff, all the staff I dealt with over the last 6 months and especially on the day we're amazing, nothing was ever too much of an ask. They dealt with every one of our guests so professionally but also so personally, our guests all commented on how amazing the staff, food and venue was. I can't thank the whole team enough for how special they made our wedding day, but also how stress free and fun it was even in the run up!

Had such a lovely time at this hotel. Nothing was ever too much for the staff, they were all so friendly and really made me feel welcome. The food was delicious from the breakfast through to dinner and the portions were always very generous and the brasserie is beautifully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. The selection at the bar is particularly impressive.

The spa facilities were lovely really enjoyed being able to go for a swim and sauna before breakfast each day. Great location very close to the beach and the town centre. Will definitely be going back and will take the family with me next time. Big thank you to the wonderful reception and restaurant staff for making me feel so welcome.

Good hotel, nice swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi.but missing some hangers. in swimming pool. Room decent size, a lot of towels, there is kettle and hair dryer. Need to put some roof in the garden, if you are smoking during the rain. Carpet in dining room need some refreshing. General impression is very good.

I was looking forward to speaking to a member of staff today regarding booking in for a treatment and use of their spa facilities, especially as the lady I spoke to yesterday said they could probably do a good deal for us with it being Mums birthday treat. Unfortunately they are robots wanting money, all following one set policy, and are not willing to go the extra mile for customers.

I have been to many places including hotels where they have excellent customer service and the words 'we don't' or 'we can't' are not frequently said. They try to help instead. Customer service is what gets them their reviews so their loss really.

Our Son and Daughter in Law had their Wedding at The Connaught Hotel yesterday. It was a fantastic day in every aspect. As regards the Hotel and arrangement of the wedding, everything was faultless. The way that the rooms were dressed for the Ceremony, the Wedding Breakfast and then the evening disco was fantastic. The food was delicious and well presented with good wines to accompany the food.

The garden/courtyard is a nice setting for photographs. My Wife and I stayed overnight and our room was clean with attractive decor and good en-suite shower facilities. The full English breakfast with a choice of Continental Breakfast and/or cereals was also very good. All of the staff were excellent at every level. Highly recommended for a Wedding or just a stay!

We went for Spa day for my birthday. All the staff were so friendly and couldn't help enough. The Spa facilities were second to none: relaxation room, steam room, sauna and swimming pool all great. The treatments were great with the staff giving extra advice and providing such individual care. The food was beautifully presented, good value for money and tasted amazing. A great day and birthday present.

Afternoon at the spa with a friend including lunch. We enjoyed a 2 course lunch which was very pleasant and comfortable. Followed by time in the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool after 2 mini treatments. My therapist was very friendly and made me feel relaxed. Overall experience very pleasant, I think my only comment would be that the little slippers they provide could be of better quality as they were like paper thin and soaked up water quickly plus the showers could of been cleaner.

Just a few too many hairs stuck to the tiles for my liking so perhaps they need to check them over a few more times a day but otherwise very nice afternoon with attentive and happy staff.

Do not recommend for spa days. We booked a spa day for my birthday. The receptionist at the spa was very flippant with us. She really needs to learn to watch her facial expressions while in front of customers. My massage was actually amazing. Jolima was wonderful. I wish I could review her separately. The spa facilities are okay. Nothing spectacular.

Our day included tea and we upgraded to lunch. No one was there to greet us. We finally came upon a staff member who we notified that we had a lunch booked. They were also not friendly. Finally we were seated. Our waitress was friendly and the food was delicious. Overall for the money, would book a spa day elsewhere.

The Hotel is clean and tidy. BUT THE RESTAURANT IS. "AMAZING" "Food Standards are Michelin 5 star and would make Gordon Ramsey proud.! Head chef is that of what you would expect from a Michilen Star restraunt where the most simple dish being A Carrot and Cumin soup blew my mind! Vegetables were roasted, perfectly well seasons, it was piping hot, the basics of the bread roll being freshly bakes, soft and light in the centre and crusty around the outside.

Fresh butter with flaky Seasalt being sprinkled was, "Out of thus world " Bravo Chef The Grilled Salmon was perfectly cooked soft flaky and crispy skin. This is the standard of Ramsey's Kitchen. I am genuinely surprised no one has stolen there chef. I met another groovy couple who moved from Queue Gardens and now they eat here twice per week Mike and Zoe. And special thanks to Roberto and his team are very attentive. The quality of servic food standards made me want to stay.! Thank you for your incredible hospitality!

Our room, (40) was very nice and comfortable. The staff throughout were very attentive and polite, the food, afternoon tea, breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Well worth a visit even if just for a meal.

Stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Year. Simply lovely stay, staff excellent and work none stop, definitely recommend

Excellent service and standards. Just got back after a two day spa break. Treatments excellent, room clean and well stocked. Pool and gym great. Food to a high standard. Would always recommend and looking forward to going back. Special thanks to Candida, receptionist.

Really good pool and spa facilities, brasserie food was superb. All staff friendly and efficient and use of What's App to communicate with front desk staff really works well. Lots of cosy and comfortable guest areas, good bar choices and very reasonably priced drinks and food. Exec dbl room was very spacious, but a bit dated with decor/ furniture, shower could've been better as water pressure wasn't great but nice coffee machine in room with decent hospitality tray. One let down was tv service - very poor just freeview and standard channels, seriously needs upgrade! Didn't detract though from giving 5* overall for hotel in general.

Really nice hotel and in a good location next to Bournemouth centre/arcade pier (if your OK with walking up a hill to get back!) really nice double room, spacious and perfect for what we wanted. Afternoon was really good and the spa treatments were relaxing! Pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were great too. Thanks for a great stay!

Staff very friendly, especially the chaps that served breakfast, but all good! Restaurant menu was restricted, But sandwiches were great! Now the swimming pool and changing room area. It was dirty, food on the floor, it was flooded, not enough places to get yourself out of the wet! Better hair/ body dryers would be nice! Because there is no staff down there, we saw 2 couples who were more than kissing and last of all was the green jacuzzi.it was vile, it smelt awful, the main reason for booking with you, was to swim, relax etc, could do neither.shame!

We booked the Best Western hotel as it was the only 4 star hotel in Bournemouth. The hotel is fantastic. We had a room with a balcony but the room seemed a little smaller than I was expecting. The spa, pool, sauna etc are all a good size and immaculate. Breakfast is as you would expect in a 4 star hotel. Staff are pleasant at all times. Our room was cleaned during the day and everything replenished. It deserves it's 4 star rating and if I am in Bournemouth, I will certainly be booking here again.

Wonderful weekend, lots of facilities. Used the gym every day, beautiful pool, sauna etc. The treatments were wonderful recommend the massage. Gin cocktails were devine, afternoon tea looked fantastic. Food in the restaurant was of a very high quality, worth a night in. Easy walking distance of the beach and town. Staff were friendly.

We came for afternoon spa and to use the facilities. absoluty fantastic. the gentleman behind the bar was very lovely too. Great massage, great swimming pool and other facilities. Will come again. o yeah and afternoon was beautiful.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at this hotel. Professional at all times and you can see they enjoy their work. It's this team work that made our stay so good. Roberto and Christina deserve a special mention as they are exceptional. Christina never stops working and with a smile. Roberto ensures you feel looked after and all with a great sense of humour.

The dining room manager runs it like clockwork and nothing is too much trouble again he has a brilliant sense of humour. The spa and pool are clean and tidy you feel comfortable using these facilities. Rooms are cleaned regularly and Covid restrictions used as a excuse in other hotels for not maintaining a good standard are absent here. Look forward to returning here

Went for a Spa Day and Lunch. The staff were amazing and went the extra mile to ensure that our experience was enjoyable. The spa experience and lunch was great too. Albeit, the rare steak we ordered came out medium, but this was made up for the professionalism and service of the staff, so it's still five stars from me.

Superb afternoon tea today served by the assistant manager who was very attentive and charming. Will definitely come back for a spa with afternoon tea next time
