Unbelievably great staff, very good food and an amazing location. We went as a group of 22 and were very well accommodated, including us with annoying good issues. The views from the garden were stunning. They even helped us sort out a broken boat engine when we couldn't leave the next day. Go visit it you won't regret it!

What an absolutely lovely hotel. Family run and so helpful and pleasant. However, the food is outstanding. We shall definitely be back. Highly recommend. Update May 23, back and the jokes and food just as good. Weather could be better, but we are in Scotland!

Had an evening meal there, very good quality food, well presented, very clean, staff perfect, prices very good considering logistics. Very bright modern building.

Took a gang of 19 sailors and arranged dinner in advance with the hotel. They contacted us re weather conditions and suggested a change. We moved the booking one day and then had a fantastic evening with great food, top service and just a friendly helpful outlook on life. This was reinforced when one of the boats had a problem in the morning and Julie helped the crew out with her local knowledge and contacts. So helpful, great place, we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful weekend in Coll. A bit blustery but even so amazing views, bays and nature. Highly recommend staying at the Coll Hotel. Very comfortable, good food and beverage, and staff just so lovely! Julie (the owner) even took the trouble to let us know of early ferry sailing. Everyone was really friendly and we felt so welcome.

We stayed here for 3 nights, taking advantage of their Winter Break dinner, bed and breakfast offer. It was amazing; the staff were friendly and helpful, the location is obviously amazing, the food is next-level with a real focus on local produce, brilliantly prepared, and the hotel has a great atmosphere. The room (room 10) was a good size, with an amazing view, access directly to the gardens, a really powerful shower and spotlessly clean. In short it was great. Everything looks just like presented on the website (which we all know sometimes isn't the case!) and all the great reviews speak for themselves.

Beautiful modern hotel in idyllic setting on Coll. Sensational food, great beer, good entertainment options (pool, darts, petanque, or just looking at bay / wildlife) and always a nice atmosphere. Just wonderful

The only hotel on the Isle of Coll. The hosts are warm and welcoming and all staff are helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and guests can also enjoy a well made and presented dinner. The room was adequate and the bathroom fine. Good views from anywhere in the hotel. Only issue we had was with Calmac and our ferry return to Oban, not a good end to an otherwise productive and enjoyable trip.

My family and I have visited the Coll Hotel for many years, however this is the first time my husband and I have stayed as guests. It won't be the last, as we enjoyed ourselves so much we booked up for 2022 whilst we we still staying this year. Where to begin? The hotel has arguably the best view in Arinagour, sitting high on the hill with large windows that allow you to relax and soak up the view, with very little effort required. Having had a massive renovation, completed in 2019, the hotel is modern yet cosy.

A compliment that must be paid to whoever designed it, as it is a large space yet it manages to retain the charm of the old hotel. Our room was large with all the conveniences you'd expect from a stay away from home: bath/shower, hairdryer, TV with Netflix etc. Particular attention should be drawn to the luxury of the towels, toiletries and sundry items.

It was clear that there has been an emphasis on using only the best suppliers who are local. This was something that pleased both my husband and I. The bath was huge and the shower was very powerful - a delight to use and very welcome after a long day walking and getting caught in the rain. The bed is the comfiest I have slept on, I'm awaiting a quote from the company who make it!

It's that good. Breakfast was plentiful with lots to choose from. The food at the Coll Hotel is one of our favourite parts of our visit to the island. It's always so tasty and the portion sizes are just right. My two favourite dishes were the fillet steak, which there was lots of and cooked to perfection. I need to sing the praises of the Imam Bayildi (hopefully my spelling is correct).

Oh my! The flavours in this dish were just incredible; I'm already crossing my fingers hoping it will be available when I next visit. The staff at the hotel are friendly, polite and ever so helpful. They really make your stay special. I think I've covered everything; if you are thinking of staying at the hotel just go for it. But be warned, you won't want to go anywhere else again! It really stands head and shoulders above the rest and showcases the very best of hospitality.

Nice hotel with stunning views, very clean and with friendly and helpful staff. Our room and bathroom were modest and simply fitted out (and the bathroom very small) - but they were certainly very clean, did the job and it was very cosy to be in bed and look out the very sweet small window at the stunning sea views. Also the bathroom had a great radiator to dry damp clothes - needed if you are out and about exploring(even in summer)!

Wonderful restaurant with outstanding views and delicious breakfast menu. They had great bikes and helmets which were free to use and a fantastic way to see the islands! There is a gorgeous garden/beer garden/seating area out front and if the weather is bad you can have the same fantastic view from inside the restaurant. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This was probably the best night's stay in a hotel we have ever had. Everything was flawless - the location, the room, the food, the service. We stayed in a ground floor room with doors into the garden and amazing views over the bay. Excellent value for money, especially considering that it is on a remote island. We highly recommend.
