Lovely, friendly hotel that made a perfect base camp for exploring London, starting each day with a Continental breakfast and coming back each evening to a clean, fresh room. Highly recommended for the budget traveller who wants a place close to public transport hubs but also has a large variety of food and entertainment venues within walking distance.

Do not have expectations beyond the competitive pricing. Rooms are basic and small but quite ok location (and clean!) ideal for exploring a long weekend in London. If you stay in the front rooms BE AWARE of the car noise all night! It is a busy road - nothing that the AirPods noise cancelling do not solve and they compensate with daily free water, coffee, tea and biscuits!

Tv didn't work. I contacted the desk 3 times to ask to fix, no one came near the room for my whole stay. Stayed in room 54, the street noise was a LOT. I stayed for work midweek. so this was an issue. Two bad nights sleep. In fairness the staff on Reception were friendly, and location is great! Avoid if you're using room to sleep well.

I stayed one night in a single room. Location good, service very nice. The room itself was a bit small, but the shower was a really tiny space in the toilet. Clean room too.

I stayed for two nights recently. Really good customer service. The room is well clean and they have a lift as well. 5minutes walk from the kings cross station which is a good plus. 100% will stay again when I travel in London.

I arrived in London after 11pm. There was no late check in charge. The reception was very polite and upgraded my booking free of charge from single to double room. The area was safe and just 5mins from Kings Cross station.

What a gem of a hotel in Central London. Great Value for money. Newly refurbished rooms were so cozy. Love Swinton hotel, the staff were amazing. Its close to kings cross station 5 minutes walk away. Would not stay anywhere else. I would heavily recommend this hotel. Thanks

We really enjoyed our stay, the shower wasn't warm the first night we tried but after it was fine. The staff were really friendly and the room was really clean and comfortable. The location is excellent with quick links to all the best locations. Will definetly stay again.

I stayed 1 night in a double room and I enjoyed my stay. Pros: + Friendly staff, Fast & free Wi-fi, comfy bed, breakfast, convenient location, free bottled water, complimentary hot drinks. Cons: - Small room, no wardrobe, no slippers. Overall I recommend the hotel. Especially if you are travelling solo and looking for a budget room.
