We stayed the night here last night the staff are friendly but on check in it tock about 15 minutes of ringing the bell on the desk before we got anyones attention our room was nice it was clearly recently done up (new carpet smell) although i wish we had a fridge in the room to keep drinks and food as the breakfast prices was a bit steep 14 per person so we got our own breakfast for half the price from the shops the mattress in our room was terrible but it didnt stop me from having a good night sleep so overall its a good place to stay especially since it's quite close to lots of things also they waived the 5 parking fee because we was only stopping for one night which was really good of them

Never, ever, again! The service was totally lacking. They hadn't bought any food to make breakfast, but maybe the next day, if it wasn't too early! No hot water. No heating in the bathroom. Cracked bath! No night manager to complain to, about the unbearable noise upstairs, until 3 am! No extra blankets, pillows (cold). We couldn't put up with a second night in this dire hotel and left.
No apologies were offered or given. No refund for the night we didn't stay. All we can say, is the morning we left, the manager found the situation highly amusing and sniggered. Not a single word left her mouth. Just smiled and laughed. I hope you get my drift! Extremely disappointing.

The worst experience of my life, so dirty, very rude staff they couldn't care less. Spiders everywhere, floor hasn't been vacuumed what looks like weeks. I like old places, but rude and dirty are not a good mix, I wouldn't pay 20.00 to stay in this room. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! 0 stars

Perfect position for visiting Bournemouth, no need to use car once you've parked in hotel everything a few mins walk, shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs takeaways.beach 10 min down hill with bus stop right outside. We stayed end of season, did not eat in hotel just used as a base, staff friendly, allowed us to check in early and park free also park for two hours after we checked out so I could have lunch with my son who is a student at Bournemouth university.
The rooms are in need of updating but were clean, beds were comfortable, tea and coffee, milk topped up daily and the shower gel and soap replaced daily. There is an outside pool which looks nice but closed this time of year. Will definitely stay again.

I apparently got a misleading auto response from Booking.com saying "Free Parking is not Guaranteed and we will guide you to the nearest public car park!". But when booking, it did say there was free parking. So I asked my reservation to be cancelled as I ended up booking another hotel. This cancellation was declined due to the hotel's Cancellation Policy.
When I called up the hotel and politely told them that I was misled with the message I received, the grumpy man (who might be the owner of the hotel) started screaming on the phone to me saying: "You are NOT my customer, you are the customer of Booking.com! I am not responsible for any messages sent on my hotel's behalf from Booking.com. When you clicked on 'Pay now', you agreed to their Terms and Conditions!
I WILL NOT help you! I will not sit on the phone listening to your complaints! Do not teach me how to run my business!" Booking.com agents tried to solve this matter amicably and I even agreed to a cancellation fee, but this horrible human being did not agree to anything and kept the whole sum! Fortunately, the other hotel where I made my second booking were extremely helpful in cancelling my stay (against their policy) and I was forced to step into this disgusting place and see the ugly face of the guy who clearly did not feel I was his customer. Can't believe this hotel is still running in 2021. I was shocked as Booking.com customer service was unable to do anything either.

It was the most disgusting hotel we had ever been to, it was one of the worst experiences of our life. The room didn't even a bed side socket for paying 144 you expect a bed side socket. Toilet didn't flush, very rude night receptionist, don't ever go in this hotel it's one of the most disgusting places to go.

Very dated rooms, the cost of which was 120.00 per night plus 20.00 for 2 dogs. Staff shortages were evident as Receptionist was ironing as we checked in, and the handyman was also the chef. Needs a huge upgrade, no sleep all night as was on the ground floor and you could hear the family above as though they were in the same room. Only upside was the freezing cold swimming pool, if you did not swallow the copious amount of ant powder poured into the water by the receptionist whilst trying to rid the pool of flying ants. When voiced our concerns to the morning staff, it was shrugged off. Would not return.
