Bourne Hall Hotel

Hotel location is near to beach and that is the only advantage. First of all the room is not like what is shown in websites while booking. Bathroom is not in good condition to use shower and bath tub. There is no hot and cold water adjustment in shower and that made more difficult to bath. The heater contains single connection for all rooma and it is not per room.

The lift is having bad odour. Room is not tidy. Television was not working. If you stay for more than one day they'll will not provide any room service like cleaning of dustbin or changing towels. The hotel management will not listen for any help or support that is asked. This hotel is not recommended for anyone who wants to stay in Bournemouth and that's the reason I am giving rating as 1 star.

The cleaning of the common areas could be much better but, overall, it is a very nice and liveable place! And the receptionist is a character! He is a really good person. I, at least, think so!

Just found several bed bugs in my room. Do not stay here. I'm currently trying to find someone to help me in this dirty hotel and there is no one around. I have to sanitise all of my things now before getting on a train home and no one is around to help me.

The room was very dirty. A rooms did not even have soap. In the evening we could not sleep from the noise in the hotel. In the evening we could not sleep from the noise in the hotel. The Reception is very rude and most of the time is not there. I think is very cheap quality for this price.

We stayed here with my family and it was brilliant. The staff were so cheerful and helpful. The room we stayed in had a brilliant view and was really nice. Plus the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

I highly reccomend this hotel. Very very old Victorian building exceptionally close to the beach. Staff were wonderfully helpful aswell. Nice cheap rooms, our room was fab! Slept like babies the bed was so comfy and the shower was great! Kitchen facilities, washing machine /dryer, iron etc. Amentities that not many hotels have! My partner and I were only meant to stay the weekend and ended up staying here for 7 more days pay as you go at great rates.

Its an old building and it can be noisy with the road outside but you cant complain at the rates considering the beach is a stones throw away and the staff go out of there way to make sure your happy I HIGHLY RECCOMEND!******

I have a lot of sentiment to this place. I lived there for two weeks during my first job in Bournemouth. It is worth talking to the service, thanks to the warm relations, I had parking for free. Maybe it is not a Radisson, but it gives advice for a non-demanding person.

A cheap and clean room in the centre of town. What more can you want? Well, reading some reviews, a lot more, but I suspect those reviewers have Hilton tastes but not Hilton budgets! Yes, the wallpaper and general decor needs some attention. Yes, it's seen better days. But we paid 35 and that was an expensive night here apparently. Everything was very clean, the staff were all excellent, breakfast (which cost extra, just for info) was nice and filling and nothing was too much trouble for anyone we met.

As a note, the beds are punishingly hard. Some people like a hard mattress so I'm not marking them down for this, but it really was like lying on a wooden plank and it made sleeping very difficult - Really not to our tastes! Overall though, you get what you pay for but for what we paid, no complaints at all. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Great location. Five mins to town centre and also to the beach. Breakfast is really nice and rooms are spacious even with three people.

Father and Son trip to see the tank museum was a real success thanks to the very nice people who run this Hotel. The location is ideal, rooms clean and tidy and breakfast superb. We will use the hotel again when near Bournemouth. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they go the extra mile to make sure your holiday is as relaxing as possible.
