Super comfy beds, nice size room, automatic check in system works well, gorgeous garden but the full English breakfast was not whats shown in picture on the website, we didn't get any hash browns, mushrooms or tomatoes, we got got sausages, bacon, baked beans and scrambled eggs, (we chose scrambled instead of fried.), also menu in the bedroom doesn't mention scrambled eggs on toast or omelette etc. Not a fan of texting breakfast choice the night before as you may not fancy what you chose the next morning, that said we'd stay again

Stayed here on a Saturday night, 2 adults and a toddler in a family room. On arrival, there was no parking spaces owing to the fact that people had blocked the spaces behind. The roads all around the b&b are full of double yellow lines or permit parking. When we called to ask where else we could park, we were told to park across the road (on double yellow lines!) Or another road about 5 mins walk away.
This was not ideal considering we had a toddler and heavy bags. Later that evening, a space became free so I was able to move my car to the designated parking, however woke up the next morning to find I was blocked in by another resident parking on the pavement. I then had to walk around the b&b trying to find the owner of the car to ask them to move it.
There is no staff around, no greeting or hospitality so guests are just left to deal with the dreadful parking situation themselves. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated however on arrival, we were hit with a blast of heat from the room. The radiator had clearly been on all day, even though it was a really hot October day. It was so hot you couldn't touch it.
Even though we turned it off and opened all the windows, the room remained really hot all night (toddler slept in a vest only) and we all slept badly. With the windows open, the road noise is really disturbing and loud. Would not stay here again and would not recommend.

Blue shutters is a lovely clean small hotel, we have been two years running in September and we cannot fault it. Anita and Milly are so lovely and accommodating, the rooms are very clean and fairly spacious, the garden is nice and the breakfast room clean breakfast is good, parking is a bit tight but fine, Ashley Cross, Parkstone are great and Sandbanks Beach in my opinion, rivals any beach anywhere! For a few days away its brilliant, can't understand any negative reviews thanks again see you soon!

We had Room 1, perfect for our needs. Lots of room, big TV.Space for luggage, and large comfortable and clean bed. Shower room was sufficiently big for a large man (me). Plenty of hot water. Due to Vivid breakfast delivery to the room, which was excellent and varied, including sausage/bacon/egg sandwich if requested.

For just a one night stay, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms and furnishings. A very clean, warm and friendly place to stay. Anita, Millie and Chef were very helpful indeed and special thanks goes to them. Breakfast was excellent. Local pubs and restaraunts were a 10 minute easy walk. 15 minutes to the ferry. Thanks again.
