Recently stayed at Beechfield House and wow what can I say! On arrival, the property is simply beautiful. We had a drink in the courtyard by the pool and relaxed in the beautiful gardens. Dinner was lovely, and waking up to a gorgeous view of the pool was amazing! The perfect Summer getaway, highly recommend to anybody thinking about staying.

Beechfield House, booked the afternoon tea as birthday treat for my partner's mum. I booked it online and put a note our dietary requirements and also stated if we can have a table with nice outside view. When we got there Jaoa greeted us with warm welcome and took us to our table. It was nice and very cosy room, there was a couple having their afternoon tea too so it felt quite private in a way and we had the front view of the house garden which was lovely.
When we all sat down Joao confirmed our dietary requirements which I was impressed because I've done booking in the past which it wasn't acknowledged. Our tea was served by Carla she was also very friendly, the sandwiches, scones and cakes was very nice. At the end of the meal they surprised us with a cake and candles and another plate with little truffle saying Happy Birthday.my partner's mum was very please.
We weren't able to eat the cake and Carla said we can take it home which was really nice. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again. Just before we left we also walked around the front and back gardens and it was lovely. It was a great experience and will recommend it to anyone. Thanks again Beechfield House and to Jaoa and Carla.

Overpriced drinks and food, not fully cooked camembert starter, stale bread the cooked breakfast was cold, 4 very disappointed people. Could not complain as no one available in morning at reception. Did complain about cold breakfast to waitress but nothing seemed to be done. Very disappointed after seeing such good reviews

This is a lovely hotel in a peaceful surroundings, we had a lunch here to celebrate two birthdays a belated 80th and my Mums birthday. The staff were very attentive, we had a dedicated room to give them protection and make them feel special. Could not fault the food or service, such a lovely afternoon, the saff were very friendly and couldnt do more for you. Outstanding, thank you!

Friendly staff, charging ports for cars cost 15 which the receptionist failed to mention, we were charged the next day after we left. Bathroom was clean, although it didn't have any anti bac hand soap. Big cobwebs on the ceiling which couldve been cleaned off. Cupboard door handle fell off. Lastly, I could feel the buttons on the mattress through the bedsheets on the bed which was annoying! Could do with having a phone in your room to call reception. But nice size rooms with fridge and coffee makers.
