Banff Springs Hotel, Scotland is elevated above golden sands, on the western outskirts of the Royal Burgh of Banff, on the Moray Firth Coast. The area is beautiful, unexploited, and well known for magnificent architecture & colourful history. Banff Springs enjoys fabulous views of Boyndie Bay and beyond. Fabulous sunsets, dolphin sightings & the northern lights are not unusual.

Very disappointed with our bedroom, even although we paid extra for a sea view king, the room was very small. We were also disappointed with the breakfast, a very small choice from the buffet, we had to ask for side plates and milk. When we arrived in the dining room we had to wait for a table to be set for us. The good points for the hotel are that the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and our evening meal, when it did arrive, was delicious.

Only went for food to celebrate a 60th bday. Wanted bar menu but had booked restaurant, by mistake. Had eaten there before ( bar menu) but even though the hotel bar was really busy with a wedding, and restaurant was empty, they said we would have to move into bar which meant we couldn't see our car with the dog in it. Food was lovely but couldn't relax.
