The County Hotel Whatever the season the County Hotel is here to welcome you, an elegant Grade B Georgian House offering fine views over the historical Royal Burgh of Banff, the Bay and the surrounding countryside of the River Deveron estuary. Designed by George Robertson about 1778 for the Garden-Robinson family (noted merchants and long-standing Provosts of the Burgh) the building contains many features copied from nearby Duff House, William Adam's baroque masterpiece and stately home of the Earls and Dukes of Fife.

Super friendly owners, we were a last minute emergency and they were amazingly accommodating. The breakfast was fabulous and I loved the vibe of the dining room. Staff couldn't have been lovelier

Quaint, charming and beautifully old school I loved it. The food was excellent and in robust proportions with a lovely young waitress and Eric the owner who came through to check on us and say hello. An excellent evening and one I will be repeating

Genuinely the nicest hotel iv Stayed in, the owners are the nicest people you could come across and truely care about their guests and showd it constantly throughout our stay here. Food was 10/10 and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great time in Aberdeenshire. Not one complaint

Beautiful Georgian building with rustic decor, yet also nice and warm and cosy. The owner and staff are incredible friendly and provide the kind of service you can't get at big chain hotels

The menu has both Scottish and French entries. Each dish we ordered was very nicely prepared and delicious. Mushroom soup was exceptionally good. Prices were reasonable.
