Aston Hall Hotel

When we arrived we had been put in the napier room which is an annex away from the hotel. That was fine till we walked into the room. Clearly only a room for single occupancy. Very tired needs updating. Never unpacked back to reception to ask for different room. Tbf room changed for hotel room by reception staff. Couldn't fault them. We needed to charge car. But wasn't really visible. Had to wait as people just thought it was a parking space. On the whole nice stay for a wedding. These pics have been cascaded to relevant people

Only stayed for one night. We'd already eaten so didn't try the food. Room was spacious, bed was big for a double, staff were friendly and helpful. Had a couple of drinks in the bar and didn't pay over the odds. Would definitely return to Aston Hall and have a meal there. It's a lovely place for a spontaneous night away.

Attended the mama Mia night. Had a wonderful time. Food very good and tasty. Stayed the night at the hotel. Well how wonderful was that. Was given a lovely big room and was very clean and well presented. Found all the staff I spoke to very friendly and helpful. Will definitely look at more nights here. My daughter and I had a wonderful time. Price was reasonable also for the overnight stay.

We stayed in Aston Hotel for 2 nights in 2015 during a business trip. This hotel was recommended by our local customer who owns a company. Every night, after we finished work, we went to the bar to have few Gin & Tonic. The best memories were the staffs in the bar were very friendly. They knows I come from Taiwan, a bartender told me the history of this hotel which made me had more G&T (otherwise, I was too scare to fall asleep). My customers from local told me that it's an old hotel with good history. I did enjoy my stay there.

Lovely place, visited for a wedding. Food was gorgeous venue was lovely staff were helpful and rooms were nice. It is expensive as you'd expect at a venue like this.

I attended the hotel for a 2 course meal and disco inferno night with family. Unfortunately unless you have money to burn, you better be ready to be ripped off. 20 for a bottle of Zinfandel, 25+ for basic Prosecco, the same wine which is 7 in the shops. 5 for most other drinks like cider and lager. It's a disgrace. I know there is costs to be considered but charging 20 for a single bottle of wine is ridiculous, as I know they will pay bulk.

The food was a piece of chicken breast on soggy mash with some vegetables mixed in, the food tasted nice but small portions, and was not presentable. The dance floor was way too small for the amount of people they had allowed to book, meaning people were bumping into us and I even had someone stand on my toes in their heels. Could not tell a word the DJ was saying on the Mic, the flashing lights were just constantly in my eyes from where I sat.

I don't tend to leave bad reviews but I was very disappointed. We personally wouldn't attend another event here, as they clearly don't care about value for money just lining their pockets. The staff were polite and attentive, this is no reflection on them.

Time for acquick update following 2 other stays here. Rooms elsewhere in the hotel are of a very generous size. It can be an interesting tour to get to the numbered rooms in the extension, access from the 1st floor via reception or the ground floor at the rear of the building. Stayed here for 3 nights with work. Very comfortable room. Slept very well.

Good sized room in the Darcy Suite. Well appointed room with everything you need. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful, nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant was well presented very tasty. The breakfast is also very good, buffet for some items, hot food is all cooked to order. There are vegetarian options available as well. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended, I would stay here again.

Booked a superior room which was disappointing, the TV was intermittent, no tea spoons for the drinks along with other things, but when we wanted to ring down to reception to inform them, low and behold the phone didn't work either, which also meant we couldn't order any room service either. The breakfast staff were slow to offer service and stood in the corner looking miserable while dirty crockery was allowed to pile up on guests tables and were only cleared once they finally left the restaurant. The hotel may initialy look nice but scratch beneath the surface and it is sadly lacking.

We had phoned earlier in the day to check that we.would be okay coming in for a drink for our aunties 80th birthday. The staff were really helpful on the phone and we really looked forward to our visit. it then all went wrong 1. There was two weddings on and when we arrived there was now where to sit. 2. The mock cocktails we had been told about didnt exist further disappointing our daughter 3.

The staff were clearly very busy with the wedding, miserable and we were clearly in the way. couldnt of been made to feel less welcome All in all a shocking visit and i wont be returning with either my family or any other bigger corporate events i run. Just please be honest with people. shocking day.

My Son and Daughter in law chose this venue as thier wedding day venue. The day here was completely fantastic from arrival to leaving. I wish to say a really big thank you to the organisers and all the staff who all made this experience so wonderful, I would recommend This venue to anyone. Merry Xmas and Happy New year, thank you.

Lovely venue. Very expensive for drinks. Food generally good but the lamb arrived with very few veg but the Turkey meal was loaded with veg.

Beautiful place.went for the Christmas Market. Very good, lots of stalls.lots to eat and a brass band!oh and santa!

Had afternoon tea, was lovely. Couldn't eat it all so took it home for the hubby. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Only downside was the clotted cream had a sell by date of 17.11.2021 we went on the 20th. They came back to say the had been frozen so ok. I'm not dead yet. Would have thought it may be better to put the cream in a dish to avoid confusion.

Comfy although bed was a bit soft for my preference. Decent food in the bar/restaurant and for breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff.

My daughter's wedding reception on 6.11.21 was amazing! Great venue, fabulous food, & wonderful friendly professional staff. Hannah & Rebecca were so helpful when the date had to be postponed due to COVID, & I would not hesitate to recommend Aston Hall as a wedding reception venue.

We attended the wedding vow renewal of our brother and sister in law on 31st October. The venue was beautiful and the staff worked so hard to make the event run smoothly it was all beautiful. Tom was amazing making announcements and ensuring the smooth running of the event and a young man called Daniel went out of his way to make sure Pete & Jan were looked after during the meal.

We had issues with our room that were immediately addressed by Tom whom we found had already bought them to the attention of Adrian the general manager when we asked to speak to him the next morning. After speaking with Adrian i am sure this lovely hotel will now go from strength to strength under his guidance.

This was my first time visiting the Hall. A real treat tucked away. Fantastic grounds with a nice feel to it. Large car park, out door seating area with ample seats. Friendly reception as you walk in. Whilst I didn't stay here I am sure its a great place to stay. My visit was for a business meeting. Comfortable area to sit and chat with a work colleague. Food and drink available from the bar and brought to your seat. Great experience in all, would recommend it.

Attended a friend's wedding here. The venue is very smart looking and kept to a very high standard. The bar staff were friendly and smartly dressed. All drinks were nice and the beer was well kept. I have no reservations in recommending this venue to anyone.
