The Ashbank is located in the beautiful fishing village of Carradale on the east coast of the Kintyre peninsula, with views across the Kilbrannan Sound to Arran and Ailsa Craig. We are in an ideal location, being just a short walk from sandy beaches and the working harbour. Situated in the heart of the village, we have a different walk for every day of the week, starting from our front door!The Kintyre Way runs through Carradale, making us a great base for Kintyre Way walkers and cyclists alike. The hotel is also within easy access to all ferry ports to the surrounding islands of Islay, Jura, Arran and Gigha.

Had a great stay here. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was clean and fresh and had everything you could need right down to an alarm clock. The cooked breakfast was excellent and the evening meals are good value for money and quality home cooking. I will definitely be booking up to stay again and couldn't recommend this place enough.

What a wonderful welcome you will get here. Sharon and John made me feel welcome from the booking though to the end of my stay. The room was clean and warm and the bed incredibly comfy. The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend the full Scottish breakfast. A beautiful area, with stunning beaches. A perfect place to get away from it all and this hotel makes the perfect base. I'm already planning my next visit :
