It doesn't feel like a B and B or hotel, it feels like a home when you stay at Glanartney. It's spotless clean and the rooms are a delight, the breakfast is continental but with homemade all over it. Second year and second stay at Glenartney, home baking is a lovely touch so thank you Ross and Hannah.

A wonderful stay, conveniently located. The Glenartney is a small, intimate hotel nestled in the centre of Brodick, Isle of Arran. The staff were exceptionally friendly and Covid Aware. The room and beds were very comfortable with a fantastic view to the mountains. Only con was the little telly which was at the ceiling. Breakfast was Continental, and a rare treat to get away from bacon and eggs!

It was all wonderful from the home made granola with fresh berries and yoghurt, to the stewed fruit, Danish pastries, ham and cheese on sourdough toast. To top it all, complimentary home baking was provided in the afternoons, for that all important coffee and cake moment!

Warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff who are flexible and always ready to give track tips. The rooms were lovely and had excellent views. Very child friendly. We went with three children who all loved the place. There were games for the older ones and toys and high chairs etc for the younger one. Staff also very good with children. Coffee and tea facilities were great and the home made goodies made it all perfect! Highly recommended for a family get away at a good price.

Just back from a 2 night stay and what a fantastic time we had. The rooms were nice, clean and tidy with stunning views across the beach and of Goatfell. Our hosts were brilliant as well & went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was lovely too, well worth the 5*

Absolutely lovely place! We got in touch prior to arrival to check if an earlier check in would be possible, as we got to Arran by ferry at 8am. It was no problem at all to go straight to the hotel and check in. That was great as we could take a little nap for another 2 hrs :) Breakfast was good. Rooms are nice as well, just a little bit small and you can hear every single word/noise through the walls.;-) We'd always recommend it as the location is good too.

Good choice in Brodick The Guesthouse is in a quiet part of the town, yet very close to shops, restaurants and to the ferry. We found a welcome less warm compared to the one of the B&B, but this is a Guesthouse; and even so, the owners were very helpful and professional. Our room (the twin) was decent size, yet the beds very close one to each other, and with sharp bedside corners.

Remember to switch on the electric heater in the shower room, otherwise it will be cold! Breakfast, everything good: bread, yogurt (very good!), lemon custard and coffee. Efficient and friendly waitress.

We Stayed here for a weekend in August and had a great time. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The owner is more than welcoming and helpful. The place has recently been refurbished and looks great. Loved that there was tea and coffee facilities in the lounge with the added home baked treats on the side plus a fridge we could use.
