Duncan is an outstanding host. The guest house was cozy and in a beautiful setting. Rooms were fine, a little outdated; however Duncan's hospitality and delicious food make this place an incredible place to stay! Try Duncan's restaurant for dinner - the gluten free fish and chips were the best we've ever had.

What a charming and quaint place on an absolutely stunning beach and in an adorable town! We couldn't have asked for a lovelier stay. Our room was spacious and well-appointed with a breathtaking sea view. The food at Duncan's was creative and five star, skillfully incorporating local ingredients and fresh seafood. Breakfast was top-notch. Duncan is an amazing and attentive host and we will return.

This place is fantastic! Booked for my partners birthday week away and stayed three nights. The room was comfortable and the tea and coffee were a lovely touch. What we really came for was the food. The restaurant is delicious, fresh and you can tell care is taken. Haggis Bon bons and the catch of the day are *chefs kiss*. Look forward to coming back. Oh and the pack lunch was extra lovely when we climbed Goatfell. Cheers Duncan!

We stayed for out short trip to Arran in April. Wonderful and scenic guest house. Rooms were clean and service was welcoming. Duncan (chef/manager) was a fantastic host with lots of great local info. Loved waking up to the sun and water. Breakfast was absolutely suberb and dinner service was absolutely delightful. Definitely try the scampi and halibut pasta bake with local cheese. We can't wait for our next visit!

Excellent B and B in whiting bay staff so very friendly, chatty and welcoming. Slept well here and felt very relaxed. Room very comfortable and it is a beautiful location. Added bonus of Chef/ manager Duncan who's menu and food is amazing. Great quality food and selection on wine list and a good quality of breakfast I hope to be back over soon.

Stayed at the Burlington for 2 nights in Feb 2022. Room was spacious, clean and with a sea view! Scottish breakfast and veggie breakfast were superb both mornings. Overall a well maintained and well run little guest house. Next time we stay here we will hopefully get to try one of the themed restaurant/takeaway nights they had on offer. 10/10 would stay again!

The Burlington Guest House went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Our car broke down so we had to stay an extra night after we had to leave our previous accommodation, they were extremely welcoming and Duncan was even able to set me up when I had to work remotely. When we come back to Arran we will definitely be staying here again!

Brilliant, friendly service, warm, comfortable rooms and a very easy self check in. Just a shame we're only staying one night! Perfect location, can't wait to come back in the summer!

Spent the new year here - clean, spacious rooms in a lesser-seen and extremely scenic location on the island of Arran (10 minutes walk from the Glenashdale Falls circular). Friendly, helpful staff and a high-quality breakfast in the morning, with effective Covid mitigations in place for optimal safety. Comes highly recommended!

I tried to get Duncan to give me a taster but he saw through me. We had stayed on a previous occasion but this time the refurbishment was 100% better. We really felt comfortable and cosy in one of the top rooms. More than happy to stay again.

I recently stayed here with my partner and outr toddler. Beautiful place, staff were amazing. Food was incredible. Room was gorgeous. Bed was so so comfy. Nothing was too much. We had a toddler staying and Duncan was kind enough to make him a small croissant and some fruit free of charge for breakfast. Such a kind gesture. The place was spotless. I've stayed in 5* hotels and had far worse experiences than I did here.

A lovely, we'll run, well maintained place. Kind staff, good food, comfortable beds, quiet. Couldn't ask for much more. The island of Arran was lovely and the people were the same. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic place, well priced and exceptional service! I had to get up early and sadly missed breakfast, but Duncan prepared a packed breakfast for me for the morning, gave me details for a taxi and hiking route guidance-can't beat service like that!

Beautiful house. Spotless clean. The chef Duncan was incredible. The food he served was superb excellently presented, served freshly cooked and piping hot. He was the perfect host with an excellent knowledge of the food he cooked and with a great sense of humour. I would recommend anyone to stay there and enjoy the experience as much as me and my friends.

6 out of 5 ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Well we'll well who would have thought a last minute booking in Arran could turn out to be the catalyst of our mini holiday! First off the room had a cosey homely feel and looked stunning! The food was out of this world both breakfast and dinner! Everything was outstanding! Our waiters both Robbie and Duncan were fantastic.

I myself as a waiter know the demand and pressure that hospitality can bring but regardless they went above and beyond. By far the best service I have ever received! OUTSTANDING GUYS! I cannot thank you guys enough for the hospitality! we look forward to seeing you again

Duncan went out of his way to accommodate all the family, fabulous hands on host. His food in the restaurant was to die for, scampi was one of the nicest I've ever had plus homemade handcut chips, lush. Breakfast was lovely too, will definitely be back

I booked here with my dog it was a bit pricey - though I also booked it very last minute due to the ferry times. I had high expectations because of the price but it was one of the best b&b I have stayed in. I am partially disabled so finding a bed that's both firm and comfy is rare - I had the best sleep and my dog loved the place. getting lots of attention from staff members.

Check in was great could go straight up to your room without having to socialise. The room itself was stunning, though there was a few things that could be approved. I ate my breakfast outside with a view of the beach - stunning. Great place if you've got a dog. The veggie breakfast could be better, quite oily, not the best veggie sausages and the egg was really bad my dog wouldn't even eat it that was the only flaw I Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!
