The Ardington Hotel, established in 1928, is Worthing's leading privately owned and managed hotel. The day to day activities are personally supervised by Richard, Simon and Sharon Margaroli, assisted by their loyal team of staff. The hotel occupies an Edwardian terrace situated in the prestigious town centre location overlooking Steyne Gardens. The promenade and pier are 100 metres away, the shopping centre and all amenities are only a short stroll across the gardens.

This is a really beautiful, family run hotel just slightly set back from the sea front in Worthing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable indeed. The breakfast was one of the best I've had, extremely tasty, quality ingredients, well presented and piping hot!
I was also taken by the interior design especially in the restaurant and lounge areas. Unusual and stylish without being too quirky for the sake of it as you often get in hotels. The colours in the restaurant were calm, soothing and totally in keeping with the period features. No expense has been spared on the soft furnishings. The owner is a charming and interesting fellow, he took time to chat to us in the morning. I would highly recommend The Ardington Hotel, I will certainly be back and next time will try the restaurant, the menu looked stunning.

I quite liked the room but it was too cramped for two single beds and had no armchair. The bathroom too was small and the shower nearly impossible as the grab rail was on the right. It would have been better for balance straight ahead or on the left above the tap. The hotel was really nice and I would go back to a more spacious room with an armchair.

The rooms are very dated and a lot of road noise from the road outside. Parking is hit and miss having to park on the side of the road. The guy on reception was ignorant and rude. The key system is terrible having to hand the key in every time you go out or walk around with a oversized key ring. The front door was locked with no key you had to ring for someone to let you in. Overall not a pleasant experience and couldn't wait to get out of there. Theres plenty of hotels here do yourself a favour and try one of the others.

I had a wonderful time at Ardington Hotel. The staff provided excellent service across the two days. This was a business trip but was very relaxed. Great venue for the conference! Lovely food too! Everyone was so helpful. Also the bed was very comfortable, lovely room. Thanks so much for a lovely time. I'll definitely come again. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

I went there for a 5 hour unpaid shift as a candidate for a waiter position they were recruiting for last year- they simply didn't even have the common courtesy of providing feedback (but kept me at the back helping out polishing glasses free of charge for the full duration of the trial run). Really hope the pandemic hasn't hit them too hard that would break my heart :)

Hotel and staff were really good, but breakfast disappointing, we had one small poached egg one bacon bacon slice and one small tinned tomato, tiny amount of butter and marmalade. And two mornings had to ask for toast. Our room was large and airy overlooking gardens, so very happy with that. Staff helpful and lounge area comfortable. But was expecting something special after reading reviews about the food, restaurant food quite good but limited menu. There are a great choice of excellent restaurants in Worthing and all within walking distance. Overall great location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

It's around Premier Inn standard, though it does include breakfast and has very good room service from the attached restaurant - you could have fish and chips in your room for instance. There's no air con, though even well into the twenties the breeze from the window meant that wasn't an issue. Only real problem is the parking. There really isn't any. Yes you can buy permits for street parking, but actual spaces are as rare as hen's teeth, and at least one nearby multi storey car park is permit only.

On our return from Spain, having to quarantine and unable to go to our new home we were advised to stay at The Ardington Hotel. The advice proved to be well founded. Whilst we were unable to take advantage of the Hotel restaurant every other aspect of the Hotel service was outstanding. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable and stress free as possible.
Without exception they made us welcome and tried at all times to help make our quarantine as comfortable as possible whilst at all times respecting the need for social distancing. As and when we needed to order meals to be delivered they ensured that they acted as the sole interface for which we were very grateful. Nothing seemed too much effort and we endured the quarantine with minimal stress.
Our room was comfortable and as and when we were able to have it cleaned the attention to detail was first class. We were at the Ardington for 18 days and are very happy to recommend the Hotel for short and long stays.
