Ardencote Manor

Beautiful hotel, huge site! Has its own little.love island where you can get married! Our evening was superb with 80s night tribute with Madonna! Wonderful and comfy and food excellent! Bit steep on the bar. Prosecco 32 a bottle and G&T 14.95.ouch.

We booked the summer spa break deal and it was fantastic value. The facilities looked very new and modern. It was also very quiet (it was a Tuesday) making it more relaxing. The food was brilliant, especially the evening meal. Great service as well. Certainly one of the better spas offers we've had.

First visit to Ardencote. First impressions were great. We were extremely lucky for the weather to be so great and could enjoy the sun while at the outdoor pool. Food was extremely tasty and service was quick for meals. Not much option for vegetarian meals! There wasn't an option at breakfast to have alternative sausages etc. Spa was lovely and clean and the extra rooms for the spa experience were lovely and quiet but I think this due to the weather being so nice and everyone was outside.

The foot spas weren't great and could definitely do with a revamp. The spa treatment was shocking.we had 30mins included with our package. I checked my time on my watch and it was 5:34pm when the actual treatment started and by 5:53pm the lady who was doing my treatment said she was finished and walked out the room. I certainly wouldn't visit again based on the spa treatment but would throughly enjoy revisiting for the hotel, food and the wonderful surroundings. I'm not entirely sure what the treatment would be like if you were a full paying customer, but I don't think I would like to edge my bets and book one.

Everything accept for the golf course was very classy. Rooms, decor, gym, spa, sauna, steam room, bar, food & staff couldn't be faulted. The golf course however was a very easy short flat course, designed to ensure a senior 4-ball can complete a round in 3 & half hours. Not a course for good golfers that likes a challenge.

I can't say enough about this hotel, one of my new favourites in the area. The service is top notch, when I arrived I received warm welcome from the receptionists and spa therapists explaining how my birthday day going to look like. They were all so welcoming, professional and polite. The massage therapist was amazing and I felt so relaxed afterwards.

My birthday day was very special and I thank the staff for being down to earth and friendly. Outside hot tub and spa destinations was a delight for me. I have enjoyed my lunch at the brasserie, simple menu but taste was delightful. The staff at the brasserie was incredibly friendly and helpful. You can tell that atmosphere there is relaxed but very professional and welcoming. Thank you Ardencote for exceptional break!

I stayed here the night before a conference that we held the following day. The staff were all incredibly polite and attentive. Greg (the guy behind the bar) really stood out and is an absolute asset to the hotel. His local knowledge was incredible and he went over and above to make sure that myself and a large group of my colleagues were looked after whilst we were in the bar. He stayed calm under the pressure of having a large number of customers descend on him at once and he makes a mean mojito. Every hotel bar needs a Greg!

My daughter and I spent a lovely day at the spa. It was our first visit and we were mostly impressed with the facilities. Unfortunately the indoor pool was very cold and someone said there was a problem with the boiler. This was disappointing and no member so staff let us know this. Consequently we didn't spend long in the pool. The light lunch was good but thought at least an offer of coffee afterwards would have been nice. Not having to pay 3.50 each. Louise.

Quiet and peaceful location. Fantastic spa facilities. Not crowded. Lovely food, lunch, dinner, breakfast. Good sized rooms. Very helpful staff throughout the building. Stayed on a winter berry break. Over valentines day

Staying through work. Beautiful hotel, extremely comfortable beds. Food was amazing. Staff very nice. Very clean and grounds were stunning. Would recommend.

What a wonderful new years eve. The staff couldn't of done more for us. Wonderful venue and evening will defiantly go and stay again. We'll recommended. Thankyou

Wedding venue was very nice. Rooms clean and comfortable. Bar in wedding was small and understaffed, had to go to the building.next door for quicker service.

Great facilities and staff. Something sureal chilling in the outside hot tub When it's freezing weather. Food also top notch. Spa days and stop overs are also great value

Works Christmas party was held here. Superb location, beautiful setting, lakes, fountains, ducks etc Friendly staff and lovely rooms. Had superb response from reception when our electricity blew less than an hour before the party. Breakfast was amazing, the sausages were probably the best I have ever tasted. Only small negative was the food at the party was not as top notch as the rest of the experience. Overall I would give 4.5 stars but as that option wasn't available, I went for 4 stars. Thank you

Excellent location. Gorgeous setting. Lovely room. Great facilities. Fantastic food. Would have given 5 stars but for the lack of water in the room as a result of a faulty pump. I missed that shower. everything else was amazing.

Absolutely lovely place, grounds stunning, staff very attentive, food was amazing with plenty of choice, loved finishing off our stay with cooked breakfast. Room was lovely. Good selection for hot drinks in the room. Relaxation area lovely, we chilled with cuppa and they had put mince pies out, great start to our visit. Lovely touch found in our robe pocket was sachets of cleanser and moisturiser.

Only disappointment for our visit was outside hot tub was broken which we were really looking forward to using but look forward to using it next time. Treatment rooms were relaxing. No issues with parking. Our time went by far to the quickly. Can't wait to book next trip.

The day spa experience is a great way to destress mid week. There were a good choice of facilities. The staff were friendly and lunch was delicious. I particularly liked the facial treatment. Only down point was the outdoor hot tub wasn't working but this was a minor issue. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Destination Spa, restaurant and golf course. Nice place for special celebrations, like weddings. Bit far from everything, quiet but comfortable place to recharge. The only thing I have to point out was the look of the golf club member at us, like we don't belong or doesn't suppose to be there. Shame for that, otherwise pleasant stay.

Just spent 5 nights dinner, bed & breakfast. Lovely big room with views over golf course and lake. Food excellent, served by pleasant, professional staff. Took full advantage of spa, used indoor pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi every day. Hotel set in lovely grounds with plenty of places to visit near by. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

I viewed this hotel as a potential venue for an external work meeting and was really impressed with the grounds and the feel of the place. The Manor House is the main building and has a oldie worldie feel to it. Infact the whole place does! There are plenty of conference rooms here including bedrooms that are situated close by to the conference building.

Very handy! The spa and gym is well facilitated offering plenty of spa packages and treatments. They have a hot tub outside where drinks can be served while you have a soak and there is an outside and indoor swimming pool. A fairly new brassiere and bar area offering a meal or drink in modern surroundings (without making it feel too formal) is a good addition to the place. The staff are professional and knowledgeable. Would love to return here for a spa treatment!
