It's quiet has swimming pool, bar, sonar and steam rooms and gym. It's beautiful building with cosy rooms and the staff are wonderful. It's got everything one would expect from a hotel. Plus for the price compared to other hotels around it's a bargain. Ideal for company functions and wedding reception and for people like me on business who wants quiet good night rest. Please click on like if this was helpful.

Been here numerous times now and it is always consistently excellent. Lovely food.helpful staff. Nice Quiet room. Relaxing pool. Even the gym is well equipped by hotel standards. Another very pleasant stay.

Nice enough hotel. Friendly staff, bar food very tasty. Unfortunately when we visited the room we stayed in (which in all other aspects was really nice) had a shower that was either so hot you couldn't stand under it, or icy.

Normal 3 star except the cleanliness is quite awful. Dead flies and webs on windows. Webs in the bath. Room really hot and smells like no one open a window in a month. Bathroom quite nice (except the webs in it, of course). Coffee and tea, bed comfortable enough. Nice and quiet area. Not enough parking but you can easily park on the street.

I just celebrated by 80th birthday with a party of 16 people for lunch and tea. The day went entirely as planned, excellent food and service. All my guests were complimentary regarding hotel ambience, service and food. My husband and I and some family members stayed the night. We had a lovely room and an excellent breakfast. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Very accomodating. We were just passing through and had our dog with us, when asked if we could eat in as it had started raining the staff set us up our own little table in an area dogs were allowed. Food was great, but the portions were huge, we couldn't finish ours meals and felt a little bad leaving some but it was very nice. Will visit again next time we are passing through

We stayed there just recently for 3 nights. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I have a bad leg and had trouble getting into bed. They found a little foot stool for me and that helped me so much. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend to friends. I would stay there again. It was a good base as it is so near all the tourist attractions.

I spend a lot of time in hotels and this is the best hotel. The staff and manager go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble. You feel the warmth, friendliness and the proffessionalism from the staff the moment you walk through the door. The food is delicious and the pool and gym with the spa therapies are well worth a visit. I would highly recommend a stay here

I have actually not stayed at the hotel, but been to the bar and restaurant a few times. They have done a lot of renovations since January and the parking lot seems always full. The food is good and service was very friendly all the time. We actually had an issue we needed support with and even though we were not guests in the house, the staff was very helpful! Looking forward to have a guest stay there and get info on the rooms.

The service here and the decor throughout are excellent and standout during your stay. The facilities management could use work, as my room didn't have a phone, the shower was broken and the WiFi was unusable most of the time. The nearby village is quite quaint, and it's a good location for a getaway so overall I would recommend - but plenty of room for improvement.

This hotel is half old fashioned & dated & a little scruffy. The other half is modern! Our room 203 was very very hot but there was a fan in the wardrobe. Room was big enough for our family of four but dated. The bathroom however looked brand new. Modern & stylish (shower pressure a bit pants). The breakfast was really good! The coffee was outstanding!

The restaurant was lovely, especially as it opened up to the lovely gardens. It was a very relaxed hotel. Staff just got on with their jobs and lovely & polite they were too. Couldn't of been more helpful. Esp Melanie on reception. In some hotels staff are charging round, looking busy & stressed however here the atmosphere was relaxed & welcoming. We are def coming back here. Such a beautuful little village too.

Lovely place for a weekend away. Staff were very helpful. Room and bedding very clean. Breakfast was good. The only thing that let it down was the restaurant in the evening. Food was dreadful!

Really good lunch at very reasonable prices. We ate in the lovely light conservatory beside a pretty garden. The manager dealt admirably with a small problem with our order and made us feel very well looked after. He was the most attentive person any of us could recall in any restaurant anywhere we've visited! We'll definitely go there again. Easy parking too.
