NEVER GO THERE. The place is dusty. The window was dirty and broken, the room was not cleaned before our arrival. The pictures on Booking are so different than what we had that I'd say it's a scam.

One of the worst worst worst hotel to stay in UK. Please don't take risk in getting into it. We boarded on Friday night to stay for 2 nights and at the moment we entered room, we immediately checked out. Wasted all the money. No refund too. Please do not pick this hotel at anytime untill they improve their quality. My rating is ZZZEEERRRROOOOOOO

So DIRTY. Cups and tea cups have food on them. The room door lock is broken. Everything has that dirt is more than a week thick. Host is rude on arrival. Room is cold and dusty. Bed sheets are stained. Sink in the room doesn't work.

The room was adequate and satisfactory for a two and a half star Hotel.

The rooms are well used, unclean and worn down. The taps on the vanity where loose and hard to turn off. There wasn't always hot water. When you locked the door to the room you only had to push on the door to open it up. Little customer service.

Nice place, friendly staff, facilities were top notch. Sorry I can't write this with a straight face, it was awful. However, it served its purpose as somewhere to sleep after a night out.

Bossman was so welcoming upon arrival and the beds where luxurious and where home to some class love making; furthermore, bossman (owner) had a kettle and ingredients for tea and coffee in the rooms and bossman also acted as a father figure to me and my friends, this made us feel all warm and fuzzy inside and he would laugh and joke with us even though we couldn't understand what he was saying half the time Overall a great experience definitely will return

This hotel was FILTHY do not stay! This hotel was very dusty, small. The bathroom was in a poor state. Had feces in the toilet and along the rims. The room was very small and out dated. The carpet was a risk for falls and loose wiring. Do not stay. It worth to pay a little more for a hotel that is safe. We walked straight out.

They are busy renovating are rooms and there is a lovely family room with ensuite. Sharing a bathroom is not bad at all. If you planning on spending time in your room then this is not the place for you. But as a place to lay your head and and explore the vibrant, lively London as well as not pay a fortune it is well worth it. It's old but close proximity to most interesting places and major train station and underground. Russell Square has lovely restaurants and a cinema.all within walking distance.

Very surprised when we arrived. Totally not what we expected from the pictures. The room we got was very small, you weren't able to reach the wardrobe or the basin. The beds were awfully squeaking with every movement and way to soft. Didn't get any sleep that night. The shared bathrooms were very unwelcoming as they hadn't been very clean, also the shower in our floor was out of order. The staff wasn't kind or helpful at all. Ruined our mood. Not to recommend and very insolent to demand so much money for it.
