Adair Arms Hotel

All areas of hotel in need of update. Room is fairly standard, bathrooms in great need of update.

Was there today for a family function. The place is nice and the food was very good, but the best thing about the place was their staff. They were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. Because of this, we will definitely be back.

Went into the hotel yesterday and the conversation with the receptionist went something like this. Me - Hi. Do you do afternoon high teas? Receptionist - Yes we do. When do you want it? Me - Today? Receptionist - Have you booked? Me - No. Do you need to book? Receptionist - Oh yes. Me - Seriously? Receptionist - Yes we need notice. Me - How long? Receptionist - A couple of days.

But we could do you a scone and tea. Our scones are to die for. So we did eat there and it was fine and we did have a scone and they were very nice too, but why oh why in the name of all that is good and holy, could they not summon up the energy and the will to put a few sandwiches, scones and tray bakes on a wee stand? OMG - we are so bad at customer service in this country. PS - the website makes no mention of having to book three light years in advance to have a proper high tea.

Me & my family stayed on 25th april 2022, I was given 1st floor room at the very end I think 124, from the moment I entered my room it was like the north pole I ended up wrapping the bath towels round me & stealing my husbands socks which he had on all day, I didn't complain as I know the hotel was full booked. Spoke to the receptionist the next morning & told her. The staff & food was nice.hotel clean just didn't expect it to be so cold, all of my families room where fine

We stayed for 2 weeks and the staff could not have been more accomodating, friendly and professional. So close to town, rooms clean, food great. Natasha in restaurant was so lovely, doing everything with a smile.

22/4/22 -24/4/22 From day one we kept asking bout the wifi, we got different answers. 1 we turn it off because kids outside use it 2 we have contacted BT their looking into it 3 it was on then it went off again 4 the internet line to our hotel is down 5 BT is still looking into it With all this going on if the internet was down. HOW WHERE THEY ABLE TO USE THEIR COMPUTERS?

We said do what any other place does have your own code to give to people who stay then no one else outside can use wifi, simple problem solved. No answer to that. Then when we finished our so called free meal. My husband went to pay for his pint of beer & my coke. He couldn't believe it, the bill for free meal was 25 odds. We had a steak & couple of mushrooms on our plate.

The girl who served us said side orders come with your meal. They charged us 5 each extra for the steak & 3.50 each for a handfull of chips. So where was our free meal. Never again wull we go there.

We only stayed overnight as we were going to a local wedding. Room was warm and comfortable and staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing.

This is a fantastic Hotel the staff are very friendly and helpful. You would struggle to find better and the food is sublime. Very good choices from breakfast till evening meal. I sound bias but it's down to such a good experience and not sorry to say it. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The wonderful ladies at this hotel went far beyond what anybody could expect in order to help my daughter and me in a crisis. The hotel itself is cute and cozy. I will always remember this place fondly.

I treated a client to breakfast before our meeting. Food was well cooked, not over cooked. There was also a good selection of fruit, yoghurts and fresh chilled juices. Coffee pot refills were available. Really good value, I would highly recommend.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast were both excellent.

My sister and I always call in here after a day's shopping. The staff here are always welcoming and friendly. Lovely place to chill and enjoy a nice glass of wine or whatever your tipple is!

Our Christmas evening meal was excellent. Very quick an plenty of food

Pros: Really fast WiFi Cons: This hotel is extremely dated. The carpet is stained in multiple places, and the pillow cases were a yellowish color. The TV didn't work, and there was no hair dryer nor mini fridge in the room. It smelled musty too. This accommodation was absolutely not worth 89 per night. Maybe 40 at best

Love this hotel. Great food great staff very relaxing atmosphere as well. Would highly recommend this place

Carpet worn. Cant turn shower off. Closet to small for clothes. Telly broke. Cobwebs on ceilings. Bar shuts when packed with 20 plus people. Stayed in better. Not again.

Lunch today. Honey chilli chicken and skinny fries. Outstanding. Better than any Chinese takeaway and they didn't skimp on the portion size. Okay, so the tea I ordered didn't arrive but the food was so good I forgave that slight omission. Great menu selection.

Reasonably priced and well located. Room was a little musty with a few cobwebs around the room. But the waiting staff were excellent. Gavin in particular, was so friendly and went out of his way to ensure you had everything you needed. Definitely one of the best waiting staff we've ever experienced in NI.

I have eaten in the grill room recently and found the food very good, the staff are very pleasant and ready to help. I had my little son with me and he was crying and my husband and i were not going to get any time to eat our lunch but a lovely dark haired lady came by and took the child and humoured him until we got some of our food eaten. not many people would do this. i would most certainly eat there again when i visit ballymena

The adair arms hotel is located in ballymena town centre. i have always found there to be a terrible atmosphere in here. The food is very average and the customer service is terrible the staff are not very friendly at all.
