Nice bar and food. Rooms need some TLC and some thought put into the lighting setup and was a tad on the chilly side for me.

Slow service on arrival, 20 minutes to order our meal. Meal was tasty, though not enough veg, portions are irregular. We are regulars and the hand dryer in the ladies toilets still hasn't been repaired. Staff are new and they need more guidance

Food was good, value is reasonable, service is very poor. I understand the present situation but having to ask several times for a drinks order only to be answered with "Someone will be with you now." There seemed to be only 1 person on duty who could take any sort of order and she seemed to be finding it difficult keeping up.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention for Oonagh who went out of her way to keep us happy at dinner time. Don't be put off by what appears to be a fairly basic dinner menu, it's done very well but be warned, portions are huge.

Pity. This place really isn't what it used to be. The first time I came here was when I was just shy of 18, back in 2008 when the place had recently opened. I'll be 24 next month and they've done little to refurbish the place. Black mold on the shower curtains, monolithic mattresses, doors that slam shut no matter how silently you try to close them. Yeah. no.
